Just to introduce this post, I had never met Rigo prior to my first appointment and this review comes from spending a few hours with the man during my appointments.

I've come to Rigo twice now. This is saying a lot considering I went to one barber for 6 years that I loved, however I moved away 4 years ago and have been to two barbers "including Rigo" more than once since. After my second visit, I have decided that I will now continue going to Rigo as long as I live in Houston. This is not only because, he gives a fantastic haircut and great customer service at a fair price, but also he adds the value of a conversation with a genuinely good person during the cut. Through conversation you will find that he has passion behind running his business and taking care of his customers. This is a man that deserves the support of his patrons. I have never gone to a new barber and been so comfortable before in my life. Rigo (the guy who runs the shop) is hands down the best barber I have ever met. I have lived in 7+ cities, and having recently moved to Houston have been searching for a good barber (you can only try so many times a year). He is GOOD. He knows hair, he can execute on what you want, or help you figure out what could look good on you. First-time visitor to this barbershop, and the entire experience—from the moment I walked in to the moment I left—was great. Josh was ready for me right away and immediately started a conversation like we’d known each other for a while.

He asked what I usually do with my hair, and after showing him a few reference photos, I told him I trusted whatever he thought would look best. The result was exactly what I was hoping for. Josh also took the time to check in along the way—asking things like, “Do you prefer it this way or that way?” and “Would you like this or that?” Very accommodating and attentive.
