I train with Crystal L four times a week. She is an outstanding, experienced trainer and person! Crystal has designed a very effective program to meet my goals, monitors my progress and form and continues to challenge me with new workout programs every month. She inspires me to reach my goals and makes it fun! I highly recommend Crystal without reservation!!!
Update: I've been training four times a week with Crystal at Houston Strength since January 1. I am now competing in my first power lift competition in November. This program has inspired me to reach goals I didn't even know I could achieve. Highly recommend Crystal and Houston Strength!

Read moreI have been training with Jordan at Houston Strength for the better part of a year, and have been extremely satisfied with my results. I have a pretty extensive athletic and strength training background dating back to high school and collegiate rowing, but felt like I was stuck in a rut on a plateau while trying to program my own routine. Jordan has consistently helped dial in my diet and has provided fresh workouts in an effort to reach sub-10% body fat. To that end, I've dropped from 14% to around 10% body fat in under four months. I don't think I've ever looked better.
The training space is small, but incredibly well-equipped -- better than any other gym of which I've been a member. And the trainers utilize the space and equipment to the maximum.
Even better, the training rates are competitive AND there's no additional gym fee, since they own their own space. (I already pay for my "regular" gym for my regular workouts.)

Since being diagnosed with Osteoporosis, I realize how critical it is to do weight bearing exercises on a regular basis, and do them right. I have found over the years that I just won't get the exercises in without a personal trainer. I'm so happy I came into Houston Strength. I am 55 years old and I have never felt stronger. I saw results in a very short period of time. I think it's because we never do anything more than once; the routine is always different and Crystal pushes us to the limit. I love that.
