If I could give a negative star I would. My son went to this store at Memorial City mall to return a pair of shoes he bought online (365 day return policy) because they were too small. He was denied by someone at the store because they said they were worn. This wasn't true as only tried on in our home. So on 10/22/23 I returned to the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The assistant manager said he was the one who turned my son away before and he could not take them because they are worn. We did not wear them and I stated well that is how they arrived through the mail. He basically assumed that we were lying and did nothing to work out the situation. This is not good customer service and not what I would expect from a Retail store like Journeys. I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone to shop at Journeys if this is how they teach their "managers" to treat customers. Do these look worn to you? Nothing on the sole...

But when we were by the register looking at the backpacks, another young female came running towards us, around 5:30-6pm. She got way too close to my husband, completely ignored me, tried flirting with my husband in front of me. Very DISRESPECTFUL. I worked in retail for over 10 years and never once did I do that. Read moreI messed up on my part by not being 100% with the size before but I literally rolled my ankle in my new docs bc they were too big and docs don’t have half sizes so I come in to exchange the shoes and potentially give them more money to get a more expensive shoe that worked but the manager there was just so rude and not trying to help at all. I get you’re wanting to close quickly and go home but have the same curtesy for everyone. Maybe if I can’t exchange or return maybe see if you have shoe grippers or something that could help.
