Tea Room Fashion Showcase The Tea Room is a special place to be at the Junior League of Houston, and the family of Eric & Elaine Johnson with their five daughters would be hosted along with guests for quite a reception. Their evening was festive with an exciting fashion showcase in the Tea Room.

The family of Eric & Elaine Johnson were well received by the Junior League of Houston. Elaine Johnson would address the Junior League membership about living an optimum lifestyle and Eric Johnson joined her to share his testimony and have Q&A with the audience. The Johnson Family was treated like celebrity. The Junior League of Houston and the Johnson’s have now become family.

As evident from the speakers who shared their testimonies and inspiration, the organization of Junior League volunteers, over 200 of which responded quickly to the call from the nationally televised show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, those that worked tirelessly to help build the home that would change their lives, and the gifts and fellowship w/the Johnson’s, The Junior League of Houston is an inspiring group of women who change the world.

The Junior League of Houston and the Johnson Family, through Optimum Lifestyle, are both able to do more than they would otherwise through their collective efforts and giving back.

What an unforgettable experience! I had the honor of visiting the Junior League of Houston for the very first time—and it was for a truly meaningful cause. The event celebrated and recognized some trailblazing women who have paved the way for others through their leadership, service, and steadfast commitment to excellence.

Even more impactful, the evening supported a vital cause—providing formula for babies in need. The fundraiser featured generous donations, a silent auction, and raffle tickets for some amazing prizes—all to make a difference in the lives of families who need it most.

The atmosphere was as inspiring as the mission. From the elegant setting to the empowering stories shared, everything about the evening reflected strength, beauty, and purpose.

So grateful to have witnessed such powerful moments and to be surrounded by individuals who are actively making a difference in our communities.

Recently held our 40 Year Class Reunion at the JL. I could not be happier with the amount of support I received both before and during the event. The food was wonderful (all of it), the cash bar flowed perfectly and any AV concerns I had were all addressed with expediency. And, there were nothing but compliments from the attendees that night. We are a tough class to get this kind of consensus from, so when I tell you it was a wonderful affair it is with great enthusiasm that I say so! I would book another event at the Junior League of Houston...
