Decided to explore a new restaurant this weekend and stumbled upon Remington inside the St. Regis Hotel. My initial first impression at the hotel was exquisite, the cleanliness, valet, and employee welcomes. The restaurant bar area was full but dinning area was completely empty. The vibe was quiet & dark, but the bartender was quick to say hello and be attentive. I ordered the salmon (that came w/veggies & grits, which I felt made an odd combination). Read moreI want to love the restaurant. It's beautiful... The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is prepared appropriately. Unfortunately the quality of the food itself (not the preparation)... Is C- while they charge A+ prices. I understand the high prices considering the location... But the subpar food quality was a suprise. Perhaps the smallest chicken wings I've ever seen... Mostly skin with little if any actual chicken and the shrimp cocktail was hilariously tiny. Both would be fine if ordering from a cheap low scale restaurant... I would expect a bit better from this establishment. All in all the food quality was so bad that despite the excellent service and atmosphere I would highly recommend you eat anywhere else....

This bar was tacky with respect to its décor and when we walked in there were children with shorts on eating..
