*********Roach Infestation********** I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Hampton Inn that I feel compelled to share. I encountered a severe roach infestation during my stay, which was incredibly distressing. When I woke up around 4 am and turned on the lights, roaches were crawling everywhere, causing me great discomfort and concern for my health. I immediately contacted the front desk for assistance, hoping for a prompt resolution. Unfortunately, I was met with disappointment as they informed me that pest control would arrive at 8 am. However, despite their assurance, nobody came to spray or address the issue, nor did they offer any refund for the inconvenience caused. I had initially planned to extend my stay but after this incident, I couldn't bear the thought of spending another night in such conditions. Before writing this review, I reached out to the management via email, giving them the opportunity to rectify the situation or provide compensation for the distress caused. To my dismay, they offered me a mere $20, which I found to be insulting and completely inadequate. To further emphasize the seriousness of the matter, I involved my credit card traveling department in the communication. However, they too were offered the same unsatisfactory compensation of $20. It became evident that the management's lack of concern for their guests' well-being was not an isolated incident, as the front desk clerk confirmed the hotel's ongoing struggle with a roach problem. In an attempt to address the issue directly, I went downstairs to speak with the management. However, instead of offering understanding and support, the manager responded in a confrontational manner, raising her voice as if I was to blame. This interaction only further reinforced the lack of care and disregard for the health and satisfaction of their guests. I strongly advise against staying at the Hampton Inn due to the roach infestation and the hotel's inadequate response to the situation. It is evident that the management prioritizes profit over the well-being of their guests. I encourage potential guests to consider other accommodations that prioritize cleanliness, customer service, and the overall satisfaction of their patrons.

This was the worst Hotel that I have ever stayed at, The Security guard was the first person that I had an encounter with. And that was at check in when I was sitting in my vehicle Talking to the Hilton booking agent to book my room. When the security guard came up to my SUV while I was still in. It started knocking on the glass yelling And saying are you staying here or what if not get out of here. I had my overhead light on so I could not see who this person was, onice I got inside to check in the front desk lady said that it was the Security guy that come up to my vehicle And scared me, I was in my vehicle allow at about 11:30pm with my Dog. This Same Security person had come up to the outside of the fence of the pool and started yelling at my friend and I, we are both Guest of this Hotel and had worked all day and just wanted to relax before doing it all over again the next day. But all of that changed when the same Security guy came up to the outside of the fence, Yelling and cursing at us, then came around to the entrance of the gate to come into the pool area as he continued to yelling and curse us out with No shoes on and looking like he was a homeless person or a drug addict person, my friend picked up her phone and started recording everything including when he spit in my face and I pushed him back. Then we reported him to the front desk right after it happened. They did not call the police at all after seeing the video but they said that they were going to report it to there GM in the morning. The next day I showed the GM the Video and he said that it should have never happened and the Security guys that they have. Are not supposed to even get out of their vehicles our approch there Guest at all. I did report this to Helton and to the police in Houston. Hilton let us down.

Post Oak is a nice, quiet corner of Houston's inner Loop 610. I'm here right now and it's quiet out because the area is tree leafy and the hotel is situated away from the freeway and related feeder road. It's a good location and it's priced accordingly. Parking costs $16/night, no free on site parking even if you don't park car behind the card-key-access gate. The presence of such security may indicate break-in issues in the past but currently it seems peaceful. Breakfast is better than other Hamptons because there is slightly higher variety of cold items and the breakfast area features significant open space, not cramped like a typical downtown Hampton. The fitness center is cramped, very tight, but I was the only individual in there this morning. Visible from the fitness center is the outdoor swimming pool, which is only as large as a giant bath tub, so I don't bother visiting. The recumbent bike in the fitness center pedals but doesn't keep record and you can't adjust resistance level. Reception staff are 100% friendly and I've yet to meet a Debbie Downer behind the counter. The digital key feature works here. A/C and refrigerator function and room cleanliness is adequate. I'll revisit this hotel again probably without regret.

On 11/7/19 I checked in around 9 PM. I reserved the room about 11 days earlier and specifically booked a king size bed. I had been travelling all day and by the time I got to the hotel, I was dead tired. When I got to the room, it was 2 single beds. I took a shower and went to bed as I was too tired to do anything about it. The next morning around 6:30 AM, I called the front desk to ask about the room with the king sized bed I reserved. The girl on the phone said that at check-in, they didn't have any available but they had one that was now available. SO YOU DON'T HONOR YOUR RESERVATIONS?! I asked if there was a fee for switching rooms and she said no. She gave me some options as far as when and how to complete the move to the room with the king sized bed. I packed all my stuff and after breakfast, went to the front desk to complete the switch. I was then told there was a $40 (or maybe $50) fee to complete the transfer. I tried to explain that I had just called and spoke to her and she said there was no fee for the transfer since I originally booked the king sized bed. I went back to the room after letting her know that I would report the incident. At the end of the day, I went back to the front desk and spoke to someone about the issue and he told me I should talk to the manager. They had notes about the incident. The manager said I could transfer rooms and that she would waive the fee because of the inconvenience they caused me. I have several issues with the idea that they're waiving the fee as some sort of favor. I booked the room and specifically booked a king sized bed so I should've gotten a king-sized bed from the get go - that's the whole point of the reservation!!! Second of all, how can the room I reserved not be available at 9 PM but is available less than 10 hours later at 6 AM? On check out date, my bill had an extra $5 charge. I asked the same girl what it was for and she said for a purchase I made at the little store by the front desk. I never made any purchases so I asked to have it removed and that took forever. Just a horrible experience overall. If you can't honor the reservation, which is probably the most basic function for any hotel, then I question everything else, especially since they wanted to charge me for...

My family & I check in around 1:00 something PM rooms numbers was 511 (my son), 414 (daughters), & 434 (my husband& I ), the staff were very friendly at the time, but as soon as we went to our rooms their was as smell in the room , so we thought it was just because of the air conditioning, so we left and came back the smell has became worse, I told the staff that was on duty at the time he said ok this was the 23rd Friday night, so Saturday morning the young lady who check us in (Drell) I believe that's how you spell her name I told her the room smell really bad awful that it's a mildew smell in my room & my son ,my son been had a headache since Friday night, she immediately put in a request for the head maintenance to come up to our rooms, so no one came until Saturday evening around 4 something. It's was the head maintenance lady as soon as we opened the room door 434 she smelled it without walking all the way in, I told her 511 room smell just like this too! Her exact words was they wasn't supposed to put us in them rooms because they were off limits and needed repairs done to them ! She was going to have them moved us right away the head maintenance did not go to my son room at all because she already knew the problem with the rooms. She went downstairs and came back up with new rooms keys 411 my son and 437 my husband and I . The key to my son room didn't work ! We had to keep going downstairs they said something about their system is being switched over, back to Saturday morning around 11 something we went to their pool where the guests have to clean the leafs out the pool they self, my family got in the pool, my daughter scraped her knee which wasn't the hotel fault, But because the pool wasn't clean my daughter caught infection in her knee! The whole three day's we was there not one time did they clean that pool. This trip was horrible we was supposed to fight out at 3:15 pm on the 26th but we left at 5:15 am on standby we had enough of...
