Update I have changed my review because Luna did end up going above and beyond to rectify the mishap. Due to the delay they did give us the protection plan at no charge. Once Luna corrected the mistake with the shipping company it was delivered in a timely manner. I ordered the 3 piece Lindyn Fog sectional, ottoman and chair and I’m absolutely in LOVE with this furniture! After seeing Lunas fast actions to correct they regained my trust and would definitely use their services again. Thank you Luna for the great customer service!
I ordered my living room furniture on December 30,2023 from Luna Furniture. I was told it would be out for delivery by the end of January. It showed picked up to ship on February 3rd. Now I will say when I would contact Luna with an update they definitely responded in a timely manner. I was given my tracking information and of course in anticipation of receiving my new furniture I tracked it often. On February 5th I noticed it stopped moving. For several days. I contacted the shipping company who assured me it would be delivered on February 9th. This delivery date confused me as the furniture was to be delivered to Nebraska and was sitting for days in Alabama. On February 8th it still hadn’t moved so I reached out and asked if it was still possible to receive it the next day I was reassured by 2 separate people it was on schedule. I stated to both that I was concerned since the delivery address was 19 hours away in Nebraska. Both emails were ignored by Estes Shipping. I then received a text that my furniture was out for delivery, but showed them still in Alabama?? I contacted the Shipper who stated it had my physical address but the state of Alabama. So now here I am trying to deal with getting this order shipped again and it is mid February. Read moreI am not one to leave reviews, let alone a negative one but let me just say .. I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED with my experience and the team at Luna. I moved down to TX in June and came across this company a couple of weeks ago after failed attempts to order a sectional from other companies.
The staff at Luna ensured that the sectional we wanted was in stock and would be delivered in a week. Mind you we called three times to confirm that the entire sectional would be there & they cheerfully said yes they guaranteed it. Well the day before it came they told us they didn’t have room for 1/3 pieces in their truck (they stated it was the chaise) so that they would deliver it in their next truck. We were frustrated but said okay, no problem.
Well the delivery came that next day and we received our chaise and sectional arm. NOT the armless loveseat that’s attaches the couch together. Immediately I call and they said “oh I guess they forgot that and gave you the chaise then” & had me send pictures to prove it to them (again frustrating but we did that).
Now it is next week and guess what … all of a sudden they don’t have our loveseat in stock and said we now have to wait another MONTH. Upon calling and voicing this concern they say “well yeah we don’t actually have it afterall but we can give you $50 refund.” I voiced concerns over and over and the woman refused to let me speak to someone else. It took multiple attempts of asking to even have her state she will be having a manager call me back. I’m not even sure that they will be calling back or even willing to do anything for us.
So basically we are now stuck. We paid in full and are MISSING the entire middle of the sectional!!!! This was not a cheap purchase and we were lied to during this process multiple times. I never post reviews, but after this experience, I truly want to help people not go through the same thing I have. I won't post a long emotional rant, because facts are what are the most important. It has been one of the worst experiences I could have ever imagined. Although I live in Dallas, this company appealed since the exact same couch at Wayfair was almost $300 more. I gave it a chance in spite of the negative reviews. Let me just confirm some of the other reviews: They will not deliver when they are supposed to and you will not receive a heads up. You will not be able to contact customer service and speak to someone, prepare to be on hold forever listening to music only to speak to no one. The number that they give you to text will show lots of interest and be attentive until you pay, after that, it's crickets. Parts were missing from my order when it was finally delivered. Trust your gut. If it feels sketchy, don't order. And let me tell you, Luna is sketchy. They lied and said they would send the appropriate missing legs as well as a courtesy free rug. They sent legs that did not match the couch, oh and yeah no rug.
I hope you do better than I did if you're on the fence about whether or not you should order. I can't tell you enough how much I wish I'd just coughed up the extra cash for Wayfair and listened to my gut. Would have spared me a lot of stress and headache. I hope this review spares someone.
