I went to the Jack-in-the-Box at 12:35 AM on July 14 and had the worst experience I’ve ever had in fast food anywhere. I pull up to the window no one acknowledges me. I wait about two minutes and I say hello. No one says anything so I say hello again in about a minute I know people are busy so I wait about a minute or two and I say hello again, and the lady working there yells at me and says “why you hollering at me!!!!” Eyes and said well, you didn’t acknowledge that someone was here so I was trying to make sure everything was OK and she cut me off and said “I’m Busy give me a minute!” at this point, there is no way I’m giving a dollar to this establishment so I had to wait in line to get to the window to ask what the number for corporate was and she didn’t even wanna open the window to talk to me. She then tried to clear up her attitude, and when I asked for the phone number, she pulls me a receipt out of the garbage, yes out of the garbage, and gave it to me to call and of course it’s a franchise so the voicemail is full. Read moreIt was very busy today around lunch time, but the young man with red hair (I believe his name was Kam) took care of my family and I with a smile on his face, and made sure our fries were fresh and hot. Amidst the rush, he did very well keeping his composure and kindness. Pay that man more. I will be returning to this location.
They probably need to hire some more people. The workers really look stressed and over-worked when not facing a customer.
Alternatively, close the lobby down and only do drive thru, which would wind up improving overall times. Im postive having to run back and forth between the front end, and the drive thru, is extremely ineffective/exhausting. Makes your store look unmanaged and chaotic. Its asinine to expect a 3 man crew to feed the houston area on lunch rush with the lobby and drive thru both getting slammed.
Having the store open without proper staffing must be quite enraging for the workers who DO show up and have to run multiple stations. Hopefully you guys get some more people working soon to ensure speed...
Read moreI was asked to move to the front to wait for my order, I said I would wait, then the manager asked me to move to the front to wait for my order, I said I would wait. she got mad. within a few minutes my order was ready. I opened my window and the person working the window threw the bag full of food at my window and slammed the the drive threw window closed. I waited, and asked for the manager. she came and rolled her eyes at me and said "and what, you wouldn't move so what."...This is not how your customers should be treated. If you're just moving everybody around front to make it look like your window service times are good, Maybe you should just make your window service times faster. And If I want to wait at the window for my food, That's my choice. I should not have my food thrown at me because I didn.t move. They acted like I was not going to say anything about it....And I wasn't given a receipt to give a review, or know what I spent at...
