My Fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Select Jewelers and I am absolute in love with my ring! My best friend and I went first in order to see what I liked. They had a great selection and was very willing to work with me and my personal style. Also having a studied some geology and materials in college, I know enough about diamonds that I can spot those who are just "sales reps". Sunny was the jeweler who helped us-- his knowledge about rings and diamonds was very helpful and impressive. We had tried some other places before going to Select Jewelers and only got the run around, seeing low quality stuff that was way over priced. Sunny was informative and very attentive to what I liked, he also searched for the right center stone for me. Even after the purchase of the ring, I went back to have him take a look at something I thought I did to the ring-- he investigated with no qualms and reassured me all was fine, he even check to make sure all my stones were still secure so I could feel at easy. The owner also checks in to make sure all is going well during your consult which was nice. My Fiancé, who at the time was out of the country, was able to talk to Sunny on the phone, secure the ring and stone I liked, and purchase and pick everything up once he was back in town seamlessly and with out me knowing over the course of a few weeks. Bought an engagement ring online, but then read horror stories about poor customer service experiences, especially with having to ship the ring back and forth to the provider. I called Sethi's literally a week before I had to propose to just inquire about options and whether I could get a great ring within budget and on short notice. They totally delivered above and beyond expectations - the stone was better, the band was better, and the overall price ended up being better too! The in-store jeweler Nitish advised me to switch the color of the prongs from gold to silver so that the E color of our stone would be clearly visible; he also suggested that we simplify the band so as to highlight the main stone (we had a round solitaire). I didn't question his judgment since he's the expert and I was operating on short notice. When I saw the ring I was floored by how these simple but critical edits made such a huge difference in the final product. When you buy online, you don't really get a sense for these types of subtleties. My (now) fiancee loveeees her ring and I'm so glad it all worked out so well.
