I have been going to Muscle Maker Grill for the last six months or so and for the most part I have been satisfied. Today I placed an order for two meals both with steak. When I got home the orders had chicken instead of steak. So I called and informed them of their error. The response I got was drive back and pick up another order. So I did. When I got home with the new order the food was dry and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Not very appetizing. So I called back again and spoke with Anthony one of the workers and expressed my views on the experience I had today and informed him that I was not pleased with the food or the customer service. I told him I would give them another chance to make things right and suggested they give me a credit for the two meals. He said absolutely not that the only thing they would do is remake it and have me drive back up there and pick it up. Which by the way is a 25 min drive. For a place that messed up my order in the first place and had me drive to pick up the second order which was dry and uneatable you would think they would have a little more flexibility in how they treat their regular customers. I will not be eating at this over priced, mediocre at best food, no customer service establishment ever again. Moreover. I will inform every friend and family member to think twice about eating here as well. Bottom line they agreed they messed up my order, made me drive 25 min to pick up the new order that they botched, and the pick up order was borderline disgusting. And after all that they were rude on the phone when I offered a simple solution for a credit of two meals the next time I come in. There will be no...
Read moreLast night, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Muscle Maker Grill on San Felipe, Paul. Despite having ordered from there via Uber Eats before, it was my first time visiting in person. Upon asking for recommendations, Paul suggested the Santa Fe wrap, and it did not disappoint. The zero-carb sauce added an incredible burst of flavor. What struck me most was the open kitchen concept, allowing diners to witness the organized and clean work of Paul and his team. Throughout my 25-minute dinner, the staff exhibited remarkable efficiency, managing a continuous flow of online orders and foot traffic. Paul even took the time to inquire about my previous orders, expressing concern over occasional negative feedback received through delivery services. Having seen the behind-the-scenes operations, I would highly recommend dining in or picking up orders to avoid potential delays and issues through a third party app. I was even lucky enough to get to sample their chocolate protein shake which capped off my dinner. Beyond the food, Paul was just a really nice guy and his genuine hospitality shined through which made me feel truly welcomed into his restaurant. I’ll see...
Read moreI like that this place is quiet and offers outdoor seating. Makes it comfortable to dine in if that is the only option you have at that time. In addition, the restroom area is decent. I don’t remember being disgusted when I walked in so that’s good! The employees there seem to keep the restaurant clean in the main areas and I like that they bring your order to you if you dine in. Wait time to receive my order was tolerable. The presentation of my meal was nice too. What I think can improve is the preparation of the sweet potato fries. Mine were not cooked thoroughly and my strawberry and banana smoothie could have been better. My sandwich was good though. Fresh veggies, chicken and bacon cooked to perfection. Maybe having the employees suggest in season fruits for their smoothies to ensure the option is naturally sweet and not too bland would be ideal since sugar or sweeteners are not added. Otherwise, my first time at this establishment was just ok. I appreciate the...
