I was the 7th or 8th person in line at 4am for the Jordan 4 x Levi's collaboration. I stood outside in the cold until 12:25 pm just to fill out a fake raffle ticket and to look in the store only for a couple minutes to then get forced to leave by the Sherriff who was working there. The Sheriff, the man working with the Sheriff and an employee or store owner of Social Status conspired with each other to get 50-60 people to fill out fake raffle tickets while they cut a deal with each other. It was so obvious. The previous people who came lined up before me were told to leave the property by the same officer multiple times before 2 am Wednesday morning stating that there was a raffle sign up for Friday and Saturday and that we were too late to sign up when clearly us sneaker heads have been calling and inquiring since Friday and they stated it was first come first serve. Also on the Social Status Instagram page it was also stated first come first serve for in store pick up. At 11:40 am the same officer came to conspire again that the raffle tickets were gone already and that we should go home. However, we stood in our single file line. Then finally the officer and the man in charge of the officer (so it seemed) talked with each other for a bit and realized we werent going anywhere so they went inside the store to come up with another lie with the employee/store owner. The. The employee /store owner came and specified that we missed the raffle drawing due to the bad weather on Tuesday...none of the lies made sense. So in order to keep us from questioning or getting upset he had us fill some fake raffle drawings and put in multiple bags. After that some of us went a few at a time into the store and the officer came back in and had everyone leave, he didnt want anyone to make any purchases inside the store. This was my first time waiting for a release and my first time trying to shop here..very suspicious and unprofessional people who are conspiring with one another to make money for themselves and not do the distribution of the sneakers properly. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and that there will be an investigation on their money laundering. Please check cameras if you can. Everyone needs to get fired, or please shut...
Read moreAlthough their launch in Houston has been up and down thus far, their management team has been quick to respond and secure a lifetime customer.
Sneakerheads, you know how it is these days, trying to get the latest gear while battling bots and praying for the W in raffles. It's a tough life.
Social status provides another option in the city of Houston to get your exclusive kicks.
Yes, they may have fumbled with the yeezy raffle by saying it was one day and changed it to another.
And yes just recently, because of rain, they made yet another change to the date-that may have left a lot of people out, who were depending on the information and made the choice to brave the weather and make it to Houston from another city.
But they also showed that they actually care and are willing to make adjustments to the benefit of their customers and that is something that cannot be ignored.
They have just started and are acclimating to the Houston climate and from what I've seen so far from their corporate and management team, these guys are going to be a staple here for the sneaker community.
Thank you Ted and his team here for their great service and support. We'll definitely be back for new kicks and that...
Read moreI ordered some shoes for my daughter and when we received them after waiting almost 2 weeks they were too small. We wanted to submit for an exchange but issue number 1 they only accept returns, issue store credit, then you buy again(ridiculous). We went through that process, their website provided us with a label which we printed and shipped with shoes. We then receive an email stating “ After reviewing your return it has been brought to my attention that this is an unauthorized return since a return label from us was not used. We reserve the right to disregard unauthorized returns and not issue a refund.” Now I don’t have the product and they have my money and they basically are telling me they reserve the right to steal. This company is a scam at best. Maybe they steal from their customers in order to pay the employees. AVOID AVOID...
