My Review: Deceptive Practices and Poor Customer Service at T-Mobile
I recently had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at a T-Mobile store that has left me questioning the integrity and transparency of their sales practices. My visit was marked by a series of deceptions and false promises that I feel compelled to share.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted warmly by a sales representative who seemed knowledgeable and helpful at first. I was interested in switching from my current carrier and was assured that the transition would be seamless and cost-effective. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth.
Lies About the Plan: I was explicitly told that I was being signed up for a specific plan that matched my needs and budget. However, once I received my first bill, I discovered that I had been enrolled in a completely different plan with significantly higher charges. When I tried to resolve this discrepancy, I was met with evasive responses and no satisfactory resolution.
Misleading Pricing Information: The representative provided me with a detailed breakdown of what my monthly payments would be, emphasizing that there would be no hidden fees. To my dismay, the actual bill included numerous unexpected charges, making the service far more expensive than initially promised. This blatant misinformation feels like a deliberate attempt to lure customers with false promises.
False Claims About Paying Off My Previous Phone: One of the main reasons I agreed to switch to T-Mobile was the assurance that they would pay off the remaining balance on my phone from my previous carrier. This was repeatedly emphasized as a guaranteed benefit. However, after switching, I found out that there were several conditions and exclusions that were never disclosed to me. Consequently, I ended up having to pay out of pocket to settle the balance, which was a significant financial burden.
Overall, my experience at the T-Mobile store was a classic case of bait and switch. The initial promises and assurances given by the sales representative turned out to be misleading, causing not only financial strain but also a considerable amount of stress and inconvenience.

Read moreI went in to this location to pre-order the new iPhones for the family, 4 in total. The first day, I was taken care of by Victor, who was refreshingly honest, fast, took his time to dumb down everything for me, and explain all my options. He gave me his unbiased opinions and advised me how to proceed to get the max benefit from the promotion currently going on. I cannot recommend him enough! We got three phones sorted and the last one, I was requested to come back the next day because it was past closing time and the phone had a stolen phone delay lock. I went back the next day, and victor was apologetic for not being available as he had a lineup before me. He did however, recommend his colleague Muhammad take care of me, after giving me a soft transfer explaining my entire situation. Muhammad’s was that as experienced and great at his job! He seamlessly pulled up my account and ordered the last phone, I was in and out in ten minutes which itself speaks volumes for anyone who has ever had to deal with the painful process of upgrading phones! Every like usually takes at least an hour!
Over all, I am won over by the staff at this branch, particularly the cheerful and vibrant natures of victor and muhammad!

Had to come back in on Sunday to get the rest of my things. As I was waiting for the transfer between phones. I do not know WHY is isnt the store manager...... all the associates coming to Him for help, questions while he was still helping customers. This man is the CREAM OF THE CROP. THE BEST OF THE BEST. YOU NEED TO MAKE HIM STORE MANAGER!!! No one else seems to really know the the details and the facts except for him. No one else carried or displayed leadership like Tony. He made me really like TMOBILE. Excited for 5g. To travel and have a great working phone. He went above and beyond. Yall dont lose him.. he IS THE PEICE that holds that store together. If he isn't a manager you better make him one. He runs laps around everyone at that location.
