Veritas Catholic Books — Local services in Houston

It is an old book store but has English and Spanish books here. They have lots of different things from medals and pendants to little statues, rosaries, and books. I would recommend this place for any devout Catholic. Only place I found St. Joseph stuff. Of course if you like the gambles of online purchasing and returns then continue but if you like me and enjoy seeing and touching what you are going to buy then I would suggest this store. Have patience with them for they are behind on their systems and have to look up each pendant to scan a picture in a book. So if you do come here and purchase alot of items like I did then check out will take some time. It took me 15 min just to check out but God tested my patience and I was able to eat the humble pie myself. Yes, they speak both English...

Yes it is a good book store for Roman Catholics but the only complain is in Houston book store ,that two Spanish girls thay are not intresting in their work , when I ask a way if the cross book thay say NO but when I walk around the store I found so Meany of way of the cross books , thay talk to Mexican people sweetly why thay can't speak to a Asian rude , also the Mexican dude over their was talking to me ignorantly , Mexicans are not only Catholics , thay think like that , but remember we Asians have much more blessings from God coz we are so loyal to God , thank u , Advice your staff for good...

I was in this store for over an hour waiting for assistance. I was never acknowledged by anyone. Then when other people walk in the last 10 mins that I’m in there. All of them were greeted and offered assistance to look at items in the case. I was still standing there and ignored.
