PLEASE DON’T GO! I LEFT THIS PLACE WITH OVER THE COUNTER FACE SCRUB ALL OVER MY FACE!
My husband found this place and he booked couple's massage for Valentin's Day. It was the WORST massage ever. The person that gave me the massage DID NOT HAVE any knowledge on how to do it. First of all she started with scalp massage which was extremely slight touch. I thought it will be better soon but she kept doing the same over and over. Anyone that knows the bare minimum about massages knows that you need to warm up your hands first and my lady's hands were cold . Then she spent 1 hour just RUBBING oil all over my body without technique, consistency or pressure. I could definitely tell she didn’t have direction or knew what she was doing. Sometimes when she found a knot she would press the knots and that was it. She massaged just one of foot and hand and forgot the other ones( even though it was mostly rubbing my body). I was board, tired and disappointment but kept quiet. The facial part wasn’t nice or relaxing either. She even didn't know how to clean my skin. She didn't remove my lipstick and eyeliner. I was shocked with the face massage( it was just finger tips touch). She used over the counter face scrub( very poor quality) and WAS STRUGGLING CLEANING IT UP. I had to take a shower and wash my face to clean up the scrub.
It was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and when you sign in they even ask you if you ever had a professional massage before. I’ve had professional massages before and I am very disappointed of SUCH a WASTE of my time and my money by booking at the petit retreat. NEVER WILL...

We booked a couple's massage for my birthday, and we paid over 350 USD; it was the worst massage ever.
The person that gave me the massage ( don’t know her name because she didn’t introduce herself) didn’t have any knowledge on how to do it. First of all she started by rubbing a bunch of oil on my back with her COLD hands. Anyone that knows the bare minimum about massages knows that you need to warm up your hands first. Then she spent 1 hour just rubbing oil all over my body without technique, consistency or pressure. I could definitely tell she didn’t have direction or knew what she was doing. Sometimes when she found a knot she would press the knot with her long nails and that hurt ! The facial part wasn’t nice or relaxing either. And the reflexology was poor as well.

Read moreWow. I needed a Couple’s Massage super last minute and after calling a few of the typical McMassage places nearby, I finally called Petite Retreat, and to my luck, they had a time slot open for my fiancé and I. We wanted to splurge before I left for a long work trip, and as soon as we walked in, we knew we were going to be taken care of. They led us to a relaxation room where we waited for our appointment, and then we were offered complimentary glasses of wine and small fruit cups. Because the massage was so last minute, I had no idea that any of this was included in the package, so all of this was an amazing surprise. When we went into our room, which was one of many connected rooms in this classic, late-1800’s home, we found rose petals on our beds, and the room smelled INCREDIBLE. Aromatherapy came with our massages too, so the massage started off with deep sniffs of eucalyptus oil. Yazmin and Cristie were careful to give us the exact pressure we needed. I’ve never enjoyed a massage more, because it wasn’t just a massage- it was an experience. We will definitely be...
