I recently bought a number of bespoke components from Timbre and am absolutely thrilled with the whole experience. I appreciate their deep knowledge of what works and works well together. From the "just looking" phase to the installation phase they all conducted themselves very professionally and I felt no pressure to do anything but tell them what my ears really reacted to.

My goal is to buy quality components that will last 20 years or more and fidelity, style and being able to rattle the plates in the kitchen (if needs be) are all important to me.

This place checks all the boxes and their product offering allows a ton of options and choices for the discerning ear and wallet.

I enjoy visiting Timbre Audio. Because of Mike and Nick. Also because of their knowledge, expertise, and passion to great sound. Being in the Hi Performance audio industry years ago, I'm familiar with this niche in home electronics. Sometimes the "Best" is not always the most expensive. Sometimes the best is the most expensive. With their guidance, I will understand. The record cleaning service, is a must if you have a vinyl collection. Setting up a turntable and cartridge require special expertise. The skills are here at Timbre. Customer satisfaction and customer service are things I look for and value. I’ve been a regular customer of Timbre Houston for the past 5–6 years, especially whenever I need to purchase anything in the audiophile category. The first thing I do is text Nick. Over the years, I’ve bought multiple items from them, and they’ve always taken the time to understand my requirements. They offer options based on what they have in stock and have even suggested alternatives that better suit my needs.
