United States Postal Service — Local services in Houston

UPDATE:

I’ve had a number of sensitive pieces of mail go missing. I have been waiting for 6 weeks for replacement debit cards from two banks because of a data breach. None of them arrived. Replacements were sent none arrived. I mailed my taxes as well and there was no activity after the drop off scan and IRS did not receive them. Something fishy is happening here.

I’ve been shipping a lot of packages here and so far 3 have gone missing in the last month. I’ve also not received my social security card that I requested a month ago. I’ve received my sons but never mine.

Today I went to pick up 7 packages. 1 was in my box. I went to the window and waited about 15 minutes before someone answered the doorbell. She appeared to have been sleeping and answered the door with a nasty attitude. I gave her the slips and she brought out 3 packages. I told her I had atleast 2 more. She came back with two but it wasn’t one of the ones I was expecting so I realized I indeed should have one more. I asked my son to check the other packages to confirm and sure enough I was still missing one.

I tried to explain this to her but she kept on saying “I don’t know what to tell you” , “we ain’t got no more packages for you”, and was rushing to close the door on me.

Once again I’ll have to file for another missing package in order to get my money back.

I would not recommend this post office for receiving mail or packages. The people back there do not want to work and...

This Post Office on Greenbriar is the BEST! Keaundria and John were the staff members working today, and both of them are exceptional employees of whom USPS should be very proud to call their own. Both Keaundria and John go above and beyond to make customers feel respected and valued at the Post Office (a trait that is unfortunately rare to find these days - especially at other USPS locations).

Before going to the Post Office, I was not in a great mood, and I was particularly dreading my visit due to past experiences at USPS locations. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that there were two smiling employees at the front desk (and the line was short, which is always a plus). While Keaundria was helping me with my package, John overheard her searching for tape, and he went out of his way to find her some... Great teamwork! I noticed that they were incredibly helpful with answering customers' questions and treated everyone with utmost respect. Their positive attitude was contagious, as it put me in a better mood, too!

All the customers at this location said that the Greenbriar Post Office is the only one they will go to, because it is truly the best. I have had other positive experiences there, as well, so I can attest to this.

What a fantastic post office! I had been stressing all week about my package I had shipped from another state for some reason my tracking info never updated and I called this post office for help and they went above and beyond. What an incredibly helpful staff they informed they had my package and it was on its way. I explained to them I lived in the montrose area which Is beautiful but has it’s shady corners which I happen to be surrounded by. Krishna Jones came and personally delivered my package to my door at 8:45pm Right when I got home. I was ecstatic and relieved. This post office deserves 10 stars Krishna was so kind and sweet. She made my day and her smile was what I needed. I applaud the staff here I’ve never seen this kind of treatment at any post office. I want to thank you all!
