Tradesmen Barber — Local services in Houston

I stopped by Tradesmen Barber to get a haircut and a beard trim expecting just a quality haircut but what I received was a true barbershop experience rivaled by none. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by Aaron, whom I had booked my appointment with and offered a complimentary drink; my choice of beer, water, or whiskey. The beer I got was cold and refreshing, marking the beginning of a great experience. I was taken to the barber station which had very evidently been cleaned and sanitized, and asked what I was looking to do with my hair and beard. Aaron very quickly made some recommendations of what would work well for my hair type which instilled confidence and made me know that my hair was in good hands. Aaron got to work, engaging in conversation and making an effort to make sure I was relaxed while getting to know me. To say Aaron was skilled with clippers, scissors, and a razor would be an understatement. Once his work was finished, we went over what he had done and he provided some styling tips. Checkout was a breeze with Apple Pay accepted. The haircut was far beyond the quality of most other places and the experience was second to none. There was a personal aspect to sitting in Aaron's chair and the attention to detail let me know this was not just a haircut, but a barber's art. Tradesmen is a full service barbershop that really pays attention to detail on every one their clients. I’ve coming here for several years since they’ve opened and every time I walk out looking good and feeling great!

Julio is the owner and who shapes my beard and trims my hair. His passion is unmatched in this field and he truly loves what he does. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients leave looking good and want to come back to see him. The conversations all the barbers have with their clients are meaningful and they you can tell they actually care.

Every time you walk in they ask you how you’re doing and if you want anything to drink (water, beer, even whiskey is an option!) You don’t see much places of business like this one where they really make you feel at home.

Extremely pleased with the service I received upon arrival, their front desk was kind and gave me a glass of whisky as I waited, not even five minutes later I was greeted by my barber, Aaron. Aaron was extremely energetic and excited about getting started on my cut. I had no idea what I wanted and Aaron figured out the cut that was right for me, just from a quick analysis. He explained to me exactly why my hair grows the way it does, how I should lay my hair, what products work best for me, etc. definitely felt like I received more service than I originally anticipated!
