Amy and Jay were our masseurs for a one hour couples massage. Amy was welcoming and polite. Jay was very good at communicating clearly during the massage. It was an overall enjoyable experience.
The massage was a perfect amount of intensity and deep tissue pressure. We did not expect to enjoy the thai style stretching and body flexing as much as we did. We both left feeling very loose and relaxed with no discomfort. Both masseurs were perfect at finding our problem areas and working through them so that they freed up and got comfortable by the end. My girlfriend isnt particularly fond of having her feet or legs massaged, bu they did a great job with full body massage and she loved it. I would highly reccomend their services for people who work long hours standing or need to be limbered up and flexible. All of my joints and muscles felt completely free after just one visit. I'll definitely be going back in the future.
They took us both in with only a 15 minute heads up walk in, but I would maybe suggest setting an appointment. Amy was running the shop that day and had to step out a few times to handle calls. I think with an appointment they would have the right staff planned to handle everything. The room was comfortable and the tables were very large and accommodating. There isnt really any parking to speak of, but we were able to easily park close on a side street. Our price for two one hour massages with a tip was fair and I'd say the same or comparable to any place out in chinatown...
Read moreNever had a Thai massage before, so went there with no expectations. $80/hr sounded bit taxed, but I had to kill time before a flight. Figured a massage would be perfect, so I went. I called to make a reservation. It was short notice, yet they got me an hr window before they close at 9. The lady at the register was kind and did not speak much English, but you don't really need to say much. She led me to a room right away and told me to undress completely and wait there. After about 5 minutes, a lady came in and started the massage. She asked soft, med, or hard. I said hard, and hard is HARD. Started off with push-pull massaging on muscles, then stretching-massaging hybrid. Later, she asked if I wanted oil, which I highly recommend. The oil was scentless, and my skin felt pretty nice afterwards. Then she asked if she can step on my back. I said yes. It was a cool experience. An hour went by quickly. The massage was really nice and very thorough. I was tempted to do another 30 mins, but wallet. Came out feeling mad nice. Flexible booking. Professional massaging....
Read moreI'm always so confused when a business has excellent reviews but I have a terrible experience. They had no clients on a Thu evening and I was probably treated by the receptionist. The "massage" was a combination of an oily rubdown and unsafe yanking. She was truly clueless - eg. telling me to move my leg ("give me more room") instead of physically handling me, working on one part of the body and then seeming to get distracted and moving onto a totally different part (eg. jumping from thigh to feet), forgetting she's already worked on one side and repeating it, pressing into my body for leverage as she moved around the table, not realizing her knee was jamming into my side, etc... All the stretches were totally unsafe (I've had Thai massages and know what to expect, and am flexible from yoga). For a 60min massage, I ended the misery...
