Just a basic take-out joint serving bland, gluggy American-style Chinese food. The cuisine is as creative and interesting as the restaurant’s name. I ordered family-style tofu, shrimp with vegetables and stir-fried green beans. Everything seemed fresh, but there was little effort to season the dishes. The rice was over cooked and stuck together in big clumps. The man at the counter was gruff and unwelcoming. My take-out order was ready in 15 minutes as promised. I would only go back to this place if I couldn’t be bothered looking for something better.

Kinda disappointed figured they would at least give more rice, not a large portion of chicken either(I ate one piece before taking the pic). The general Taos chicken was soggy, no crisp at all, it lacked flavor. Wonton soup was very salty. Did not try egg roll. Cheese puffs tasted good, thought it was the best outta everything ordered. Did think I overpaid for the plate which was $12

This is your standard take out restaurant. I did dine in and found a hair in my general to chicken. The guy was nice fixed another plate. Did not offer a refund. But was possibly a fluke. I probably won't be eating here again with all the other restaurants in the area to try. The parking lot only had about 6 spots total. Food was ok but not great.

This is an average Chinese takeout place. Before giving some useful detail, I feel the need to respond to a subset of the critical reviews (and I'm sorry for mansplaining Chinese takeout in the process): if you're not looking for Chinese takeout then this place is not right for you and neither are ANY of the countless other Chinese takeout establishments in the area. A good takeout place should not be expected to (and does not need to) provide an amazing dine-in experience, and it is not designed to be haute cuisine. We're talking Chinese flavors adapted to American tastes (i.e., greasy, fatty, and salty).

With that out of the way, here are some details. Based on what we ordered and other previous reviewer comments, it seems like your food experience is highly dependent on the items you select. From our spread, the beef broccoli and General Tso's was really good and the house lo mein was pretry good (i.e. standard). The Kung pao chicken was not good. It was a little bland, and I didnt like the style of using fresh jalapeños in place of the usual dried chilies but it was better the next day. The egg rolls were bad: mushy and far more bland than most others I've had (but that's what duck sauce is for!). If you care about what the base fried rice or steamed rice tastes like, this review will not be helpful for you because: who cares!? It's the vehicle for all the sauces that your entrees are smothered in! If you read this far, you...

DO NOT GO HERE!! Giving it one star cuz I'm forced to.

My fianceè and I are big fans of Chinese food. We newly moved to this area so we decided to scout the area for Chinese restaurants. Feeling lazy we decided to DoorDash it and it was the closest place.

I ordered: 1 Montrose Sampler 1 General tso's chicken lunch meal 1 Pork Garlic lunch meal

My Fianceè could not finish his meal as the Chicken didn't even taste like chicken. It was horrible and foul smelling. Even with the little he ate, he ended up getting acid reflux the entire night. I on the other hand nibbled a little of the sampler (as I was not too hungry) and an hour later I was throwing up terribly. I didn't related that to the food initially. In the morning I woke up and finished the rest of my meal. And ever since I've been in the bathroom throwing up.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! BEING IN SUCH A WELL POPULATED AREA YOU EXPECT THE CONDITION OF THE FOOD TO BE UPTO PAR. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING.

DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WASTING A PERFECTLY...

Service is horrible, and rude. Came in for lunch sat down, took 5 minutes to address me. Even though there was only 2 other people in here. Talked to me from the counter, I had to get up to get menu. I ordered and he gave me the total while I was sitting, i was surprised for a second and said ok and asked I pay before I get my food, he said "yes, we are fast food, you pay first at mcdonalds, you eat burger king right". I asked do I tip, before or after my meal. I wasnt going to tip, because of how the service was starting off, but didn't want anything to be done to my food. So I did, he rang me up. Didnt ask me if I would like a drink for my meal which was to dine in, and then got upset when he had to run my card again for a drink.

Food was great, but the service will make me not come back ever again. Even as I was leaving and there was 3 employee sitting down, not one said bye, thank you. Not a...
