They no longer serve the pizza as of Halloween 2024.
The drinks and the bar itself will always be the star of the show here. They’re fun and inventive with a great selection of beer on tap. The staff has always been great each and every time I’ve been here.
However, the food menu is limited and unexciting. The worst part of it is its execution and presentation. What could be decent deal on a Thursday Dollar Wing night is really just sopping moist wings destined for the trash. For a place that sits directly across from a wing restaurant, this issue should be addressed. If fried food is all that will be served then it should be done correctly. To be transparent as the breading on these wings, I did not present them to the bartenders in hopes of maybe replacing them. I place the blame on the cook. Food that looks like this tells you it sucks. I didn’t need to try it. You can taste the disappointment in the pictures.
The food yesterday was abysmal. It’s served over a sheet of aluminum foil inside of a takeout box. The wings become steamed and look pale with next to zero browning. The mozzarella cheese sticks were soft and grainy with minimal crispiness. The marinara is akin to tomato paste but was the only thing that made even the one cheese stick I did eat palatable. Around 15-20 dollars for food isn’t terrible usually but when you can see that it sucks before trying it, the best value in dollar wing night is making sure you only order the bare minimum. Usually wings are crispier when not tossed in sauce. This was not the case.
Overall, so long as you’re not eating, I can definitely recommend this establishment and I hope it continues to be a staple in Pullman. However, it could easily become a favorite in Huntington if the food wasn’t trash. Bowling alleys and dive bars have been turning cheap food into culinary masterpieces for decades. I don’t see why this can’t...
Read moreThis is a great concept that many bigger cities have had for a few years now. Huntington now has one. It's spacious, many games to play, signature drinks are fun and reasonably priced, 14 beers on tap, and a full bar with a shooter list. Why are the drinks/beer roughly a dollar or so more than other local establishments? Because you get to play 90% of the games for free! Pinball, DDR and air hockey are $1 a play. Why $1? There is no way to set these games on "free play" like the other arcade games. The $1 also helps pay for the maintenance of all the games. Every other standup game and console are free to play as long as you purchase a drink. This is a brand new business and they are doing their best to work out the kinks as does everyone when first opening. Weekend nights are great for the people who love a big crowd. Those are obviously the nights you have to wait for your turn to order at the bar. If you want a more laid back evening then stop by early in the week where you'll have plenty of room to relax and play. All of the local restaurants, shops, bars and businesses will benefit from having this at Pullman Square. Quicksilver gives Huntingtonians and visitors an extra option to add to their daily and/or evening plans. Support Huntington and support your...
Read moreI stopped by on a Saturday and was impressed with what this place had to offer. If you like arcades and alcohol then come inside!
The pinball selection was very good. The new Jaws table is available to play. Many modern Stern tables are also available to play. Pinball tables are set to a dollar a play, or three plays for two dollars. Pinball is not set to free play regardless of purchase, but it is definitely worth checking out regardless. I would like to see Jersey Jack and Spooky tables available at some point to play.
Retro games and console games are set to free play with purchase. This is a great way to play classic video games and being able to enjoy a great beverage of your choice.
Everyone around me seemed to be having a great time. Patrons were behaving, and safety should not be a concern. Please keep in mind that children are not allowed after a certain time. Children are allowed inside earlier in the day.
The overall decor made coming here a great experience. You can also check out local event posters that are posted on the wall.
If you are in Downtown Huntington and like pinball, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, retro and console games, then make sure to stop by and have...
