The people working in the Huntsville location are either incompetent or unethical, and either way I will not ever attempt to use them again.

Yesterday I brought in a handmade ring to be sized. I used Hobbs at the suggestion of the man who created and sold me the ring.

I was very quickly and condescendingly told that was my ring was not sterling silver. She tried to upsale me into having the stone set into another band instead of sized. I said I'd rather look elsewhere and try and find someone willing to attempt to resize it and she seemed offended and her tone hardened. That attitude left me feeling weird and with very little effort I was walking out of another store thirty minutes later with a receipt for the sizing of my STERLING SILVER ring.

Either this woman didn't know what she was doing, or she did and she was lying to try and sell me on a nicer band.

I won't use Hobbs. I won't recommend them and you can bet I'll be telling the man making this jewelry not to refer his customers there. Not just because they were rude and unhelpful but because they don't seem to...

i can’t even begin to say how happy I am with this place. They were some of the most friendly people I have ever met and basically treated me like family. Most jewelers I’ve been to almost always try and upsell me or try and get me to buy something more expensive than what i actually want but these people helped me with exactly what I needed. when I walked in it just so happened that they were dealing with the most stuck up person I’ve ever ran into in my entire life and he was giving them the hardest time, and everything they tried to do to please the guy he always came back with some snotty response, I honestly don’t know how they kept their cool because I definitely would’ve lost it with that guy but they handled it very professionally and I was seriously impressed. And after all that was over they came and helped me with exactly what I needed and treated me very kindly and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more.
