Staff was friendly and welcoming, beds were comfortable, and I will stay at the top floor to any hotel I stay at for good views of the outside. Remember, the higher elevation you sleep on (the higher the floor level) the sweeter dreams cam be. The breakfast there was as amazing as a fancy hotel or restaurant. Keep up the good work. Also I loved the fact that this is a true garden of love for me. I will only stay at this hotel when close to it. I wish to be a Diamond member for Hilton Honors for the finest hotel in the DFW area. I wish this could be home if I'm not in my real home. I love the fact they have a 24 hour pool and fitness center, this is rare for a hotel like this. Every time I'm at this hotel, I fall in love due to the fact that this is a hotel I will see all the time. Parking was amazing. I love the fact that this hotel is connected to the Hurst Conference Center. I will stay at this hotel very soon and will stay on the top floor again because of the beautiful views of the city. Elevators are modern, runs smoothly, and works very well. When I was in the hotel to wait for the new flooring to be sanded in my house I was staying here. Anyways I love this hotel and I wish to meet the very very friendly staff again. Thank you for your services at this hotel. The hotel lobby is heavenly with a bar on the 2nd floor in the lobby area. Parking is very convenient. This hotel is ecofriendly. Light fixtures have cool circle and spiral designs. This hotel is the best hotel in Hurst. I reccomend this to all future guests. Also the beds have beautiful sheets that look like clouds of heaven that have cool garden stalk designs. Top floor views have relieving effects. This could be a 4 star or a 5 star hotel for my rating with friendly staff, neat rooms, nice elevators, open lobby area with a bar in it. Parking underneath the hotel and a parking garage with it. Indoor pool that is open 24 hours. A nice fitness center, cool light fixtures, breakfast above and beyond. This should be a relief area for anyone that wants to sleep in heaven like conditions. And last thing to say, this hotel was way way beyond the highest goals. And for that, this hotel has all the rooms you can imagine in this...
Read moreI rarely give reviews, but this stay goes down in history. :(
Arrived for a conference, immediately received a txt asking how my stay was, and if there was anything they could do. I let them know my shade was broken and had exposed wiring hanging down, and the remote was unable to lower the shade. I could see right into the apartment complex through the giant window, and anyone there would have easily been able to see into mine.
I texted them could they please send someone up to my room to fix my shade so that I could have privacy and not have the lights shining in my face while I sleep? They txted back that, sorry, the maintenance guy wouldn’t be back until tomorrow. One of the guys at the front desk said that he would try and fix it, but he was unable to. They didn’t offer to give me a different room.
A hotel with hundreds of people staying the night for a conference, and you don't have someone on-call to fix a shade?
As one would guess, I did not sleep good that night, because I had lights shining in my eyes the whole night from the apartment complex and city lights and could only change in the bathroom. Then, I had to get up the next morning completely sleep deprived and attend a conference with back to back classes all day.
Also, I accidentally left my phone charger in my room when I checked out, (probably because I wasn’t thinking clearly from having woken up every 30 mins for 7 hours) but drove back to the front desk that evening when I discovered it. They said there was no trace of it. Housekeeping was suppose to look thoroughly and call me, but never got back with me, and I seriously doubt anyone even looked for it.
Also, upon leaving, they said that they would give me “Hilton Honors points" when I told them about the bad night’s sleep. I recently got online, and saw that they awarded me 3,000 points. It's usually around 32,000 in Hilton points to stay the night somewhere, so that told me that my lack of sleep meant about $10 to them when I paid $200 to stay the whole night.
Also, for some reason the room smelled like feet upon arriving and that smell really lingered the whole time. Will not...
Read moreThe carpets in both rooms 502 and 504 had blood stains, cum stains, and gum all over them. It looked as if that carpet hadn't been cleaned since the hotel opened 5 years ago. There was also cum stains on the chair in 502, and on the bed skirt of 504. The blinds in 502 got stuck at the top, and just kept rolling in a circle at the top. I had to sleep with open blinds the whole night which was very disappointing. We called as soon as we noticed, and they should have sent someone up right away to fix that afternoon instead of 30 minutes before we were checking out the next day. In 502 there was almost NO lights in the room. The night lights by the bed didn't work, and there was only light coming from near the door. We had to bring in the lamp from 504 to 502 just to have a little light in the room. Also in room 502 near the door where the floor stops, and carpet begins the carpet was all tore up. We tripped over that several times during our stay. You really need to get that fixed before someone trips, and falls due to that carpet. I'd hate to see you get sued over something that is so easy to fix. Upon checkout we stopped at the desk, and spoke with Supervisor Tiffany. She asked for copies the pictures we took, and said she would go up to verify, and then give us points to compensate accordingly. We called back later to speak with Tiffany who said she did see everything we discussed, and gave us 20,000 Hilton points for the inconvenience. We stayed at this hotel when it opened 5 years ago, and gave it 5 star review. This stay went down to a 1 star. How does a Hotel go from a 5 star down to a 1 star rating in 5 years? I'll tell you how. Because the cleaning staff at this Hotel doesn't care about the blood stains, the cum stains, the lights not working. Shouldn't they be taking care of all of this, or at least reporting it to get fixed?????? A Big Shout Out to Tiffany for...
