I want to start this review off by saying that if I were able to give this business less than one star, then I would. I went into this establishment to purchase a 14k gold cuban link chain. What I ended up agreeing to purchase was a 14k gold 8mm cuban link chain. What they ended up selling me after purchasing the chain was a 14k gold cuban link chain that was 7.5mm. After unknowingly purchasing the incorrect chain, I went back to the store to get them to give me the correct 8mm chain, and they told me that 7.5mm is the same as 8mm and if I wanted the 8mm then I would have to pay for it. I was in shock because what do you mean that I have to pay for 8mm when that is what I supposedly purchased. It was clear that this establishment takes advantage of customers. I asked for either a refund or for the correct chain, and i received neither. They told me that they would not refund anything, and that the only way to get an 8mm chain would be to pay for it. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. To think that this is the way in which they conduct business, I am just at a loss for words at this point. I work so hard for my money, and the least I should get is what I paid for, and that was an 8mm 14k gold cuban link chain. I am making It my business to let everyine know just how shady this establishment is because noone should have to go through this. This is unacceptable on every level. Not to mention that they sold me the incorrect charm for my chain, and that I ended up having to get it readjusted. Just a horrible experience all around. She said yes. Believe me I was incredibly nervous to ask her, but Grand Jewelers took a ton of weight off my shoulders in finding the perfect ring. Trust me, I went to all the big chain stores in the DMV and found that the service wasn't what I expected. The chain stores just made me feel like it was another transaction so they could get a commission. Grand Jewelers on the other hand walked me through the entire process. It felt like they actually cared that I found the perfect ring for the perfect woman. I worked with Vic and A.J. who were absolutely phenomenal. They helped me customize the perfect ring; walking me through all of the options. Whether it was regarding the type of ring, clarity of the diamond, or the type of band. They were very insightful and patient, which made me feel like I was making the right decision. I worked with them throughout the holidays and they never made me feel rushed. We were trying to buy an emerald ring for our mom, the lady at the front started showing us a few rings with the "emerald" stone on it. I asked her again what stone it was and she had no idea what she was showing us so she asked someone else for help, a lady came back with a paper and it said emerald on it. I asked the workers several times if it was emerald they said yes that is the may birthstone. So we purchased the ring. After that I still had my doubts, so I looked at the ring and receipt again and it said it was a green crystal! And they sold it to us for $50! And online it was only $35. We went back in the shop to return and they said we can only exchange and no returns, we told them that they lied to us and they said well it is the may birthstone. DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE!!!
