We were staying at Imperial Beach with our three boys while in town for a family funeral so we were trying to find any way to keep things light for our kids. We stopped into this little shop and the selection was great. But the customer service was even better. Cameron welcomed us and made conversation with us and our oldest that will be going into high school next year. Our middle music child browsed around for as long as his heart desired, our oldest discussed “what’s next” with Cameron and took some tips from him. And our youngest (he’s three) was doing his thing and it was okay. Nothing about this place made us or our kids uncomfortable or rushed or obligated (which doesn’t happen often as parents). It was honestly so unsettling how she acted. We even bought a record and she was being condescending, laughing in our faces.
