Hands down the best pizza in San Diego! I have been obsessed with Pizzeria Luigi since I moved here 7 years ago. Being from the East Coast (Philly area) I can tell you that this place is the closest thing in Southern California. Nate who runs the front of the house is such a boss! He is my favorite person to see when I walk through the doors. Also, the women Chefs in the back kick a$$ too. I love watching them toss the pizza dough around and just handle business as online orders pour through. This place has been on DDD with Guy Fieri so it's not like they need this shout out, but I had to share how much I love this place! And appreciate them. Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer - this place is always welcoming and an overall chill place to hang out at.....thanks Pizzeria Luigi!

Wow! Our experience at Pizzeria Luigi in IB was absolutely awful. The level of customer service we received was undoubtedly one of the worst. Last night from the moment we walked in, it was clear that something was off. The lady behind the counter had an extremely rude demeanor. Even after my sister-in-law completed our order, I politely asked the cashier to confirm the total, as the menu on the wall displayed a different price. Shockingly, she completely ignored me, which was incredibly frustrating. Eventually, my sister-in-law paid for our meal, but my concern was left unanswered. I decided to approach the cashier once more, hoping for a simple acknowledgment of my question. Instead, she curtly replied that the price discrepancy was due to toppings. It would have been helpful if the signage was clearer and more consistent. However, this interaction was just the tip of the iceberg. After patiently waiting for our pizza and wings, my brother politely approached the counter, wearing a smile, and inquired about the status of our wings. To our astonishment, the same lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and disdainfully replied that they would come out when they were ready. The way she spoke to him was downright disrespectful. To make matters worse, we later discovered that our wings had been left sitting in a to-go bag on top of the reheating oven for an extended period. But the nightmare didn't end there. After finishing our meal, my brother went to the restroom to wash his hands. When he requested the key, an employee informed him that if the restrooms were locked, they were in use. Understanding the situation, he patiently waited. However, when one of the restrooms became available, my brother gestured to keep the door open, so it wouldn't close immediately. Shockingly, an employee from the kitchen slammed the door shut and yelled at him, claiming that the restroom was for women only. It was a complete overreaction, and there were much better ways for her to handle the situation professionally. And believe it or not, there's more. This was actually my third visit to this restaurant since moving here, and unfortunately, I must say that the font counter rudeness has been a recurring issue. Additionally, on two separate occasions, I witnessed a fly walking around on top of a pizza in the display case. This lack of cleanliness and attention to detail is simply unacceptable. It truly baffles me why this restaurant has so many positive reviews. While I must admit that the food itself is good, the behavior and attitude of the staff overshadow any positive aspects. It's disheartening to see such potential wasted due to the consistently rude service.

Great little pizza spot in Imperial Beach. The pizza is delicious with some great flavor combos. I recommend a slice of the White Girl - chicken, bacon & spicy ramch ♡♡♡ or the Frenchie - ham, pear, carmelized onion and blue cheese Yum! They also have a decent beer selection which you can order as part if the 2 slice combo ($10 w beer or $7 w soda). They have other spots in North Park and Golden Hill. You can eat there or walk right across the street and eat your slices with a beautiful view. The only bummer is that the place is cash only. They have an ATM though, but it does have a fee :(

Fast, friendly service located in the heart of Imperial Beach. Local Pizza shop - 2 slices of your choice and fountain drink for $7....All day, every day! Fun, trendy and affordable. Adult beverages served, pastas, sandwiches and 2 outside patio seating areas. Great Pizza! Had another great experience at Pizzeria Luigi. This time I tried their lasagna for $9.99 and it was absolutely delicious. Best Italian food secret in Imperial Beach. Welcome with a friendly staff call a welcoming atmosphere and fairly priced menu.
