Bibbeys Shell Shop — Local services in Imperial Beach

Bibbeys is outstanding! My fiance and I were curious about the contents of the store, and we were not disappointed. Polished shells, natural shells, gemstones and minerals of all kinds. Reasonable prices on all of it. Chatted with the one of the owners Mike, who geeked out with us on pop culture (we had Star Wars themed masks on). Both gents were super kind, the shop was so uniquely cool, and if they couldn't be better, they pulled out dog treats when a dog and their owner came to visit. Just so cool and down to earth. Being a local I always go down to imperial beach and pass by the place but never actually go inside. The outside is super colorful but there's no windows and only a door to enter the place. The entry way ends up looking pitch black against the colored exterior. Which was why I was hesitant to step inside but finally I did and I can't stop coming back. I have a growing crystal collection and it's just getting bigger. the workers are very kind and the quality is amazing as well as the price I've been recommending this place...

We had purchased a shark tooth necklace and while on the way back from Cali, I mistakenly threw the bag that held the necklace away. I called asking to buy another and have them mail it to us, and a week later, did so free of charge! Going through a lot at the moment and the man I spoke too - unfortunately never got his name - was extremely kind and made a hard situation just a little better with his kindness and generosity.
