Piraino/Mohney's Used Sales and Game On! — Local services in Indiana

I'm not big on reviews, but I'm making an exception here. Went in today with my daughter who is not a little child but who is still underaged and my daughter. We looked at the video games upstairs, the ones we were interested in were hidden behind the counter so we went downstairs to look.

I found a weed eater that I have batteries for already, I knew it was a $130 weed eater at Lowes, this one had no battery or charger but the guy said they'd do like $35 on it. They also have two brand new batteries on another shelf I was going to ask about when I bought the weed eater, they were priced at $79ea. So I was going to get it but continued to look around.

There was a woman in there looking at shoes with I'm assuming her daughter.

I was looking at a Duquesne beer sign/thermometer for $45 and added that to my buy list. So at this point if they hadn't have made a "deal" on anything else they were looking at close to a $250 sale at this point.

I've been looking for a smallish led light bar for my work truck, and there was one so I went over to look.

This is where my issue happened, I could hear them in the back at the counter along with a guy in a wheel chair talking about the two women that were just in there, about "whipping out" a certain body part of hers and putting it in their mouth, about how "well fed" she was. All of this being easily heard by me and my daughter.

I walked right out and will never go back to that place again because for all I know the gross talk next was going to be about my daughter.

Think twice about going in this place, especially if you are a woman or have one with you.

If I had seen those two ladies on the street I'd have told them what just happened. Totally unprofessional and outright disgusting to talk like that in...

Is not a pawn shop. First thing the guy told me was he did not have a pawn licence!!!!! Then proceeded to tell me my $500 cannon rebel t6 digital camera kit was not worth the 150 I needed to pay a bill. Camera is in perfect working condition and the lenses I had extra was worth what I was asking..... the fact that this guy gets defensive and writes back about the review. Screams scam artist. 0 star experience please make my day Mr "pawn shop owner" write back and explain to the public why you don't have your pawn licence and you still call your self a pawn shop!!! Wasted 2 hours driving down there to have this...

So at the end of the day this is a pawn shop. I don't know what people are expecting from them they need to make money too. As for the GameStop quote" pricing that they do. They're trying to stay competitive as any store would. Plus GameStop wouldn't do deals for you. I've been in there plenty of times and bought two or three things and they gave me a $20 or 30 price cut. Because I bought two or more items. All you have to do is talk to them they are very understanding. Like I said it's not the perfect store but where is the perfect store. I will always do business here as long as I live in...
