I recently got married, and two weeks before the wedding, I realized the rental suit I had received from another company just wasn’t my style. Desperate to find something more timeless and reflective of who I am, I set out on a mission to find the perfect suit.

I visited Men’s Warehouse, and they highly recommended I check out Al’s Modern Clothing. From the moment I walked in, I could see why. Al immediately understood the look I was going for and pulled out styles that fit my vision perfectly. Without even needing to take measurements, he found a suit that fit me like a glove—it was amazing.

Even though I told Al I’d be checking out a few more stores, he was completely cool about it and said he’d see me later. After visiting Joseph A. Bank (who also recommended Al’s!) and a few other places, I found myself back at Al’s Modern Clothing, where I was warmly welcomed again.

Al took care of all the tailoring in just one day, ensuring that I’d be ready for my big day. His son was also there, making sure everything was handled smoothly. The service was fast, professional, and incredibly thoughtful.

I have to say that I was really thrilled and enthusiastic about my experience shopping at Al's. I had gone to the big name chain stores and despite having an extensive inventory, they didn't have any suits that I felt good about and none of the employees seemed eager to help fit me or assist with what I was looking for. However, to their credit, they gave me a reference to go check out Al's modern clothing where I went and was immediately impressed with the styles, variability, and the amazing customer service. Within minutes they were fitting me up with stuff that I really felt that I looked great in and giving me great tips on dressing well. These guys have an intuitive sense about fashion and I loved hearing their feedback. I came back the next day to pick up my suit after they had made some custom alterations and I was even happy to make an additional purchase. I highly recommend Al's! His selection is curated with exceptional taste and uniquely beautiful and/or zany colors and patterns.
