I have visited Honest before twice and the experience in Indianapolis was none other than average.
Food - Taste of Pav Bhaji did not meet expectations along with other couple of items we ordered. Food lacks certain taste that accentuates the quality.
Service - We had to wait for our food longer than expected. It's was mentioned that it would take 30min for the order but when you start seeing others' orders delivered (who came after us) , you would feel the delay more. We had to request twice for our food and were told that our spice level was different (it was medium). Not expected. They apologized and provided us extra items for free (a drink). Also, we never received our coffee.
Atmosphere - Few improvements can make things better. Check the area near sink and provide a non slippery mat as it gets slippery very fast. Provide a better water dispenser so you don't have to change water every now and then. Provide non slippery tables and chairs as the quality of table and chairs seemed sub par and cheap. Make sure there is a gap between chair and wall else you will see lots of dents in the wall from the corner of the chair (it's sharp). Provide water to customers at the table. Biggest item is "Smile" and greet customers, pay special attention to all esp Kids.
Honest is at a good location and we hope it accepts the changes and improves...
Read moreGanga jamuna saraswati Samosas Dry Manchurian Punjabi chole Wow where to begin?!? Don’t think twice about walking into this restaurant’s door!!
My husband and I stopped in here to celebrate togetherness, at first we weren’t going to come in (since it was almost 8:30) but I’m so glad we did. The menu is ALL vegetarian and fresh made. The service from the jump was so amazing. Our friends at Honest Indian Restaurant enlightened us about the juices, dishes, etc. as a team. 3 people came out to the table to support us in our dining experience and that’s not even to mention the amazing hands in the back that we later got to meet!!! Pictured below is the dry Manchurian, perfect spice with fresh veggies top and the ‘dumpling’ flavor and texture was everythingggggggggggg!!! We took our time eating this for sure, it came with plentiful for a nice price. Then, we shared punjambi chole, came with rice and bread. Delicious! Chutney was uniquely delicious!!!! Everything was so good words don’t even serve justice!!!! The house made contributes to this restaurant’s success! When you come in, show love. Ask questions, pronunciations, thankfulness, and they will return the love fully. God bless you...

The food is too expensive and I will never be back! It was $26 for me to eat one meal and that is too much for one person!!!!!!!!! Now it’s two stars because it is way overpriced for what you get imo!!!!This is the last time that you will rip me off no more chances!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The taste of the food was amazing. The paneer tikka masala was very watery and it’s not supposed to be watery. The naan bread was very thin. Every Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I can get at least 2 to 4 meals out of it when I order I only got one meal out of this. The flavors are amazing but what they gave me for over $30 on DoorDash was not worth it I paid over $30 for one meal.
This is the only Indian restaurant that this has happened at.It only gets four stars because the flavors were amazing, otherwise it would’ve been 3 stars.I don’t know if I’m willing to give them another chance. I definitely would never get the paneer Tikka masala again because it is not made correctly. They are ripping the customers off imo by giving them watery sauce and super...
