I've had my ears double pierced at Claire's in 2007 and 2011. I was happy with both piercings done there, but I went back yesterday and they would not triple pierce them because there was a tiny bit of cartilage that they could possible hit. I walked across the way to the Piercing Pagoda and had them feel my ears and the nice woman there said she could do it without issue. Her other colleagues felt my ear to confirm it was safe to do as well. She took her time to make sure the placement was correct and I was happy with it. She did a great job despite my second piercing being a little wonky, and angled the new piercing to avoid any cartilage. She asked me if I wanted a 1, 2, 3 countdown or if I wanted her to just do it. I opted for the countdown and she didn't make me feel like a wuss for it either lol. Quick and painless! Obviously you want to go to a tattoo shop if you want a cartilage piercing so they use a needle, but theres no issue with using a gun for lobe piercings. The guns they use are single use so they are sterile. They had a broad range of affordable 18-24k gold, sterling silver, and titanium options for ear piercings including birthstones and flower/ladybug studs that children may like. I chose small gold cubic zirconia studs that costs $49, including the actual piercing. I had very minimal pain for about 30 mins after the piercing and no swelling or tenderness today, more than 24hrs later. I will be returning here for a 4th lobe piercing after...

The jewelry is GARBAGE...bought an item, it broke within 60 days. Tried to exchange it as they have a 90 day exchange policy, called customer service, told me to go to the store, NO HELP THERE. My 10 year old got her ears pierced after many years of attempts. The earrings were uneven...the one was high and super close to where the ear meets the face. The manager agreed and told us we could come back tomorrow for them to fix it. I'm sure hoping they can help make it right.
