Landmark's Glendale 12 Theatre — Local services in Indianapolis

Yesterday on Valentine’s Day I came to Landmark’s to see Bob Marley One Love Movie at 12:45pm. There was a group of people waiting outside the doors and in there cars for the theater to open at 12:40. There was a sign on the door saying the theater will open at 12:40 even though the Bob Marley movie starts at 12:45. At this time it was 12:43 and Matt came to unlock the theater. I was one of the first in and Matt instructed everyone that we had to pay at the concession stand where the popcorn is served. At this time it is over twenty people in line and Bob Marley One Love has already began. A customer asked if we could get something free since we had to stand outside of the theater in the cold on Valentine Day, pay at a concession stand which is weird on top of Matt being rude and uncaring. Matt(is what he said his name was) but did not have on a name tag said No. As it is now my turn to pay for my ticket I asked for a free small bag of popcorn since my movie has already started due to his lack of opening a business, Matt said “If you think I am going to give all of you free popcorn I’m not, besides it’s just previews playing.” Me and the other customers were very unhappy with Matt customer service. After paying for my ticket I asked for a small cup of ice water from Matt, after huffing he grabbed a cup and proceeded to put water in it but I stopped him. I said “Wait excuse me can I get ice?” He opened the ice container grabbed the ice scoop to dig in the ice! I said “Wait can you please use gloves or at least wash your hands before I’ve been trying to not get sick?” He literally rolled his eyes and put on gloves. He was the worst business operator I have ever met. Lastly the theater seats are filthy they need a steaming please. Thank you...

I had won tickets from the radio station for the viewing of Gemini man, the email told us when to arrive, I did as instructed. Between fast food and picking up my plus one, I spent an hour driving and still made it before the time started on the email. I was turned away at the door saying they sold out hours ago so we can't see the movie. The company prints thousands of invitations for people so it didn't matter how I got it, they don't guarantee tickets just a pass into the theater... What does that mean?!? I spoke to several people who could have cared less about the situation. I asked could they give me something on writing saying I couldn't use the tickets so I could give it to the radio station so I could still keep playing the games and not be excluded from future contests based on a win I didn't receive. I was turned down and told they don't have loyalty to the radio station. They finally brought out the man who put on the event and he promised to email and send me tickets to the next thing but that failed to happen so as a whole experience it was not worth the time. The staff was not friendly they seemed aggravated with each person coming in with a printed form. Instead of posting a sign it was just an odd experience all the way around. The theater looks outdated and needs a face lift inside. The parking was a nightmare handicap parking was filled we had to walk from almost the end of the lot so between the walking and standing trying to figure it out it hurt and I was done for the day...

Third visit here, nice clean theater and plenty of fresh popcorn with cold soda, assorted snacks and treats. This is an older theater missing here is recliners and mixed drinks. Though the Theater is in need of a few upgrades, nothing here appears neglected or worn out. We came to see Oppenheimer on our first visit, great flick. Younger people should likely do a little history research before watching. Otherwise parts of the movie will not be understood! Older folks such as myself were taught ww2 history in school. Good Movie it’s a bit slow at first but worth the wait. This film will sure win Oscars. Today Saturday 8/5, we came for “Talk to me”. This is a creepy little tale, sure to catch you off guard more than once. Younger viewers will find it terrifying I’m sure. 9/8 back for Equalizer 3 with Denzel Washington, this is the best one yet! This movie is fast and exciting. Has everything you want in an action thriller. Denzel plays his role masterfully.. What a great flick, very bloody and entertaining.
