Target — Local services in Irmo

I was very disappointed and frustrated with my Target visit today. I am currently in need of the electric cart due to health issues. The electric carts were blocked by regular shopping carts. Thankfully an employee saw my plight and came to move the shopping carts. I get on the first cart and it is not charged. I had to get on a 2nd cart. By that time, customers had parked 2 shopping carts directly in front of the electric carts. Thankfully, my husband came in (he was parking the car after dropping me off) and moved the shopping carts from in front of the electric carts so I could make my way into the store. I headed directly to the back of the store to the clothing area which was in total disarray with clothes and hangers all over the floor. I had to drive the cart over these things in order to navigate the aisles. Several of the aisles were very narrow/crammed together and difficult to get the electric cart through. Please note, I am very well experienced with the electric carts and know how to navigate them. As a side note, your choice of plus size women's clothing is greatly lacking. Frustrated with having to navigate the mess on the floor and the poor positioning of the aisles, and finding nothing to purchase, I moved on to the toy department. Again, aisle issues. Personally, I think the electric carts a bit wide/large for the aisles provided. Moving on to the front of the store, there were pallets of products in the middle of the aisle. With the pallets and the traffic of other customers I had to push a pallet out of the way with the cart in order to get by. Again, very frustrating and not...

Tonight was my first visit to this store on Harbison Blvd. The origin of my experience began by a phone call. The young lady that assisted me insist that I stay on the phone with her to make sure she could see my item with her own eyes to confirm the infant car sear was indeed there in the store. Her name was Nexily.

When I arrived at this location I was greeted by two amazing women at the customers desk that had my item up front. I then ask about another item, one of the ladies contacted a store employee by the name of Dee who met me half way down the aisle to show me what I was looking for and even assisted me with showing me other ideas for what I was searching for. As she was doing this, the other lady was looking to see if there was a coupon for me to use.

She escorted me back, I checked out, the ladies at the customer service called a super nice young man who carried my infant seat to the car.

I’m retired, have been shopping all my life from NY, Chicago and numerous other stores right here in the midlands and I have never received such a warm welcome as I just explained in detail from the entire staff I came in contact with.

This store was impeccable, very well organized in every aspect that you could imagine and I felt a need to reach out to say thank you to all of you for all your kindness and hospitality that was shown to me.

My daughter and I went to Target this morning looking for a wolf squish mellow for my granddaughter’s best friends birthday. They were supposed to have them in stock according to an online search. We searched the area where it stated they were to be found, we searched a big box of them in the center isle, and asked a guy stocking to help us, his reply was to go electronics and ask them for help. Well we pushed the button and waited for someone to respond. A gentleman came up, we showed him what we were looking for and how it showed they supposedly had them in stock, and he went on his way to look in the back. I honestly thought it was a lost cause and he would come back empty handed, but much to my surprise…….. Here came Raymond down the center isle holding a grey wolf squish mellow. I just wanted to take the time to tell him and his employer how much we appreciate him taking the time to do his job. He has the best customer service I have seen in a very long time. There are still good employees out there that take pride in themselves and doing a good job. Thank You for all your help today and because of you there will be a very happy 10 year old when she receives this squish mellow at her party on Saturday. ...
