We ordered a hot shrimp appetizer. It arrived with just a few of the items to make it hot, Like seven menscule jalapenos and banana peppers. We haven't been there in a while.I just figured it tasted different due to the years of not being there. My son requested additional spice items for the shrimp and the waitress reported she would put it in. 20 minutes have passed and I am thinking there. We are not going to get any additional jalapenos Or banana peppers for our shrimp. The waitress returns with the pepper concoction for our shrimp and let us know that they had to fresh cut it, but it looks like it came from a jar and mixed together. Wow! What a tasty difference, but the shrimp are tepid now. Still disgusting! Absolutely no offer to recook or comp on ticket! I had commented that we should have known that it was not going to be a good dining experience when the bread comes out cold and dry. We ordered two different salads and both were perfect! I relaxed myselooking forward to our a meal two s t e a k s, ribeyes. We ordered the larger steaks x 2, yummy ribeyes cooked in delicious Longhorn spices and topped with lemon butter. I complimented mine with a loaded baked potato. So looking forward to the meal. God has more jokes for me. I ordered a big steak and got the little one, 12 oz? Bone in, I ordered it MW. Just a few dollars in their pocket. I am practicing restraint when I cut into mine, seeing the size of my son's steak, 22 oz?. We ordered the same thing. He saw me eating the tail of the ribeye, he did not have one and his steak has spots of MR in it, we both were sick, neither of us want a bleeding lump of cow flesh or muscle in our mouths, which we did warn the waitress-no blood. There blood was oozing from the cow's fleshy muscle. He asked to see the Waitress. He made his case, mgt. came to our table. He spoke well about the concerns he had. 3 times! 3 times she tried to get him to keep his meal of nerves, poor expectations and questionable meat cut, sirloin? She even rolled her eyes when my son was looking down at his plate. She did agree to recognize steak and be certain there was a tale for his ribeye. My potato was sour, condiments or potato, I do not know. Because my steak was ok, the tail, I decided to be a spineless customer. No potato tonight. I went to cut in a darker grill line along the bone, MR!!!! BLOOD OOZING ONTO THE BONE, VOMIT SURFACING TO THE BACK OF MY THROAT! My Son saw my face and called the waitress over after he looked down at my plate. Once again we made our complaint and management was consulted. The Waitress returned," the meat is less cooked by the bone". Mind you, it is 1/4 inch thickness were I had cut on top of the bone and darker grill marks. She has tried to shut us up and I am trying to keep it together, nothing, absolutely nothing! was to a remote satisfaction, except the salad and poor Waitress. I have never said that management was an issue, MANAGEMENT IS THE ISSUE!!! OTHER tables had issues with absurdly cooked and served meats, waitress told us. They agreed to rebook my meat, stuff I have eaten off of, returned to me well done with a delicious fresh potato. My son got his new steak, I am not certain if it had a tail. He immediately saw a coarse hair cooked into the fat. He reported to the waitress, mgt came. My son is in further nerve wrenching disappointment. He drove us there in memory of my mother's, his grandmother, passing. It WAS A FAVORITE MEMORY, we have been loyal customers with many celebrations and vacations a part of our life story. The only complaint was about flies 10 years ago, never the food. Never has management reported to a single table so many times in my 58 years of life. I didn't like myself, I was crying for my son. A FAVORITE MEMORY WITH HIS GRANDMOTHER SPAT ON! Mgt. came over, and sourly notified him it was a corn husk. The look on his face, as he studied the item cooked into his food. He declined her study of the food item. She did comp his meal, but nothing was done for our time and humiliation or a repair offering. She stole...

My waitress was excellent she was very personable with my family and I. Although our encounter with the hostess was very uncomfortable, and she was rude. When my family and I first arrived it was a party of 4 who walked in just before us. When my family and I arrived to the hostess counter to be seated the hostess stated that because I had a party of 6 they had no tables available for a party of my size, and that we had to wait about 15 minutes in our car or in the parking lot until I receive a text message alerting us to come in to be seated. My family and I a party of 6, three Children, and 3 adults then decided we would just stand in the lobby until then. About 30 minutes had past I decided I would go in to ask about my family and I being seated because the text never came to my phone, and 4 more customers were allowed to be seated during OUR wait in the lobby. Upon me questioning the hostess she continued to be impertinent. I then asked; where was the manager? One of the employees who was near by located the manager, and when the manager arrived I asked what was the policy on being seated, and she asked was there a problem, and I explained to her that my family and I had been waiting in the lobby for a text message to alert to us come in and be seated, and that we’ve been waiting for quite sometime. Without hesitation and apologetically the manager then immediately seated my family. Our waitress then came to take our order. I knew that my family, and I had been treated unfairly and or discriminated against by the hostess/employee, and it showed by the behavior the hostess displayed. While my family and I were eating the disgruntled hostess came very near to where we were seated and sprayed in the air while we were eating. At this point I was sickened because my family and I had already had an unpleasant experience from the start, and yes we could have left and went elsewhere, but why? I was not about to allow an employee with a behavioral complex to deter us. So my family and I graciously ate, and left. I am currently STILL waiting on the text alert to be seated that she either; didn't put the information in when she asked for my telephone number or it was a flat out lie either or it was still...

I called ahead at 8p for seating. I was told that it would be a 30min wait. I said that was fine. We arrived at 830p. I actually arrived and walked in at 848p. We were told we still had a few minutes to wait. All 4 girls sat at the side stations on their phones. My phone alerted me 3 times that my table was ready however they continued to sit and chat and b on phones. I got up MYSELF and walked over to them and asked if the wait would be any longer because I had received my message. In which she responded "oh tht means your table is ready then" . And she then passed me off to another girl who was on her phone chatting with her. We finally got seated at 910p. From there we were seated in the back by the restroom. Our server was Jerome. Who immediately when introducing himself let us know that due to him being tired he needed to sit down to take our order. We let him know tht it was our first time and we needed a second. We ordered our food and it was in by 920p. Our food didn't come out until 10. Our food was wrong. It was sent back. Then the correct food came back. When our food came back I had no sour cream no butter for my potatoe or garlic butter for my salmon and shrimp. I then asked for those items my food had gotten cold by the time my server brought those items back. When I asked to speak to a manager. The black man manager came he didn't introduce himself the situation was explained and he sat there as if not knowing what to do with the situation so I asked if he could take my meal off and we would pay for the steak and if he could bring the ticket. We sat 30mins at the table before our server came and asked if we were ok. I responded we waiting for the manager to come back. And he goes oh the manager said you didn't want anything. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE MANAGER. WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE MONDAY TO COMPLAIN. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION DO NOT EAT AT LONGHORN GO TO OUTBACK. LongHorn calls itself a "casual ranch-style steakhouse chain known for grilled beef and other American dishes." And that's everything you need to know. The "epic" Wild West shrimp turned out to be pretty good battered popcorn shrimp spiked with cherry peppers. It is a clever policy: Get 'em in, get 'em fed. Guest corralling is a necessary tactic here, as coordinated as herding sheep. The something-for-everybody menu means the place is packed even early on a midweek evening, and it seems we have arrived all at the same time. Older couples, college dates, families, colleagues: The mass of humanity is ushered in and attended to. Servers scatter and regroup in dining room football plays while an omnipresent manager soundlessly paces the floor in soft shoes, stopping to confirm our satisfaction every five minutes or so. "How is everything? Is everything fine?" It's impossible to respond between every bite, so we wanly nod and smile. It's also hard to concentrate once you realize your popcorn shrimp and rib eye with a lobster-topped baked potato have amassed a whopping 2,700 calories after you tally the menu annotations printed next to every dish. And this before your fork plunges into a dense molten lava chocolate cake domed in syrup-squiggled ice cream. The choco-fudge center is less molten lava than slow-moving glacier, but earns every inch of its purported 1,100 calories. As I look at those now fed, their leftovers bagged, few seem to care.

First of all, our server Marcus is a national treasure. Protect him at all costs, and give that man a raise. I’ve been a server since I was 14 (the 90s’ was wild y’all), and I’ve seen a decline in the service industry. Marcus reminds me of everything that is good about being a server. Attentive, kind, patient and incredibly sweet to our adult autistic child with ADHD. We usually have servers that act like Austin isn’t there, but not Marcus. I can’t stress it enough….National….Treasure. So much so that I’m writing this review while still sitting at our table. Also…he has a delightful singing voice. Just as a side note, I could hear him singing to staff in the kitchens, and he just has the most delightful personality. Secondly: Best restaurant steak I’ve ever had. I’m not sure whom was cooking for the lunch shift, but I’ve never had my steak so perfectly cooked in a restaurant before. I usually end up taking half of my steak home to feed to my dog because without fail it’s almost always over cooked. This chef nailed medium rare. I worked on a ranch in Wyoming for a number of years as a wrangler and trail cook. My boss out there makes the best steak, but your chef made the best restaurant steak, hands down. Closest thing I’ve had to Wyoming steak since I moved home to SC. 10/10, would recommend.
