Brazilian Wax by Andreia — Local services in Columbia

I usually have no complaints coming here, but yesterday the waxing lady Chastity really made it my last time ever going back. She was too rough, left wax all over me she was messy and used very hot wax on my lady parts 😩😭like I felt like she was having a bad day and took it out on me during my full body wax I went in for, but could not bare the pain any longer. I asked her to stop the service immediately. She didn’t tell me that she made me bleed and that has never happened. I noticed she tried to hide it and leave the room quickly. I had to remove some of the wax myself. The only reason I knew her name was because I saw her license while I undressing, because there was no formal introduction as in her telling me her name the receptionist just said you got one go set up. She then came back and said come back it’s time for your wax, she didn’t leave me with instructions what to cover up with after getting undressed. I just sat on this cold table with 2 white long sheets of paper I felt so violated i wish I felt more comfortable. I was sitting on that table in that cold room with nothing but a bra on I felt like should I leave then and I should have, but I like giving people the benefit of the doubt, lesson learned never again! I always leave good tips to my waxer I told the receptionist that I would not be leaving a tip and she asked was I ok I told her not really. She was so helpful and asked that I talk with the manager and she was polite too and offered a discount for my next visit being that I had already paid. I don’t look forward to a next visit, one bad apple can ruin a bunch. I’m upset it’s the next morning and it’s still on my mind. I’m not a Google complainer, but when you pay your money for luxury services you don’t expect to leave in pain and unsatisfied. I hate to leave these type of reviews, but if we the customers don’t speak up this will happen more often than not. This type of person will ruin a whole business not caring is a horrible way to be no matter what you choose to do in life. Please be careful...

Unfortunately it’s a NO for me. I have been going to a different location of Wax by Andreia and just moved to the area so decided to make an appointment here. I made the appointment online and showed up 5 minutes prior to the appointment time. When the front desk lady checked me in she seemed confused, asked me 3 times what time I was here for I kept telling her 10 am and then she would ask with who. When I got into the room everything was fine the lady was nice and very talkative. My issue is once she started waxing, OMG the absolute worst! She would lay long strips and just tear them off and not apply any pressure. I’ve been getting waxed for a while and never had any problems but this was by far my worst experience. It felt like she was rushing and trying to get it over with. Once she finished she didn’t clean me up and was still in the room and told me to get dressed. Usually they step out and give you some privacy but she didn’t. I felt so sticky and still had chunks of wax on me. I’m used to them applying aloe Vera or some type of cream afterwards. My regular technician: Brooke Note: I've been going here for over a year now I was incredibly nervous my first time getting a Brazilian wax, so I dug through every review I could find on the local places around me. I found this place, where a few of the technicians were being mentioned (repeatedly) by name. I went with Brooke, and will never go with anyone else. She made me feel comfortable and the process was quick (albeit painful, but worth the trouble).

The pricing is in-line with other places I've looked at, and even with everywhere else increasing their prices, I haven't seen that yet with them. I also appreciate that I can tip through CashApp rather than their square system. I cannot stand it when the tip gets taxed!

Their waiting area is nice and comfortable for the most part. The place is small, being connected to the Publix shopping center. But not so-much so that I feel like I should wait outside. Regardless, the wait times were incredibly short, especially when using their online portal for appointment scheduling.

They do have a few beauty products available for purchase after the waxing, depending on your care plan. I have not had any other waxes other than Brazilian...
