IRONDALE CITY HALL — Local services in Irondale

I am a Irondale resident. I had a serious problem beyond my control. I reached out to my Mayor (James Stuart) explaining the situation. He told me he would get on it. He did just that. The city inspector (Greg Coochren) and the fire chief (Josh McDaniels) came out and inspected every unit. They came in being very professional and caring. With all that was going on it’s gonna take time to fix . I have been dealing with this issue for 6 months and I can’t do it anymore. After I’m done recovering from surgery I m gonna be looking for some where in irondale to move. I was so blessed . I wish I had reached out to Mayor Stuart when my issues first started. Thanks guys for walk-in in you calling and doing the work the city...

Very nice and clean place with friendly helpful people. We went to make a payment on something and the woman who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable when we had extra questions and such. There restrooms were really clean and might seem odd to add or say but there water fountain was amazingly cold and refreshing. I also loved the flowers they had outside made it feel inviting, nice and peaceful. The mural or painting on the side of the building was also really cool...

City Hall houses dispatch and jail release. Its easier to vall ahead and ask where to go 5hen to wander around. You have to push the buzzer to the right side of the door to city hall (which is often locked) to speak to anyone. Been a customer service-friendly city since 1887, but they have accumulated no signage indicating their jail location.

Also there is no camping or campers allowed...
