Taco Mariachi — Restaurant in Irondale

EDIT 2: MORE TACOS. Mariachi has my favorite marinated pork (pastor) in town. Got 2 tacos and a Burrito Campechone (steak and chorizo). Still getting the wonderful spicy red salsa, still 5 stars.

EDIT: 2nd photo from tonight's visit. The gentleman at the window told me to try the Torta "Philly style". Got one steak, one pork. Fantastic! Still an easy 5 star.

Asked for recommendations from the kind young lady at the window.

Got steak torta (left) and 3 tacos (right, 1 each steak, pork and steak/chorizo combo).

Tried each of the 3 salsas, and loved them all. Standard red salsa was bright and spicy, Verde was nice and tangy, and the bright green (I think it was guacamole salsa) was a little creamier and more subtle.

I ate it all, with a lot of salsa. It was excellent 👏

Would definitely recommend pork or Chorizo, not because the steak was lacking, but because the marinated pork was so good and Chorizo is a personal favorite.

$17 for all in the picture. Easy...

Man listen.. if you want good food that someone put love into, then look no further! I ordered a steak quesadilla and it was delicious! The presentation look like something that would come out of a five-star restaurant and the balance of food inside of the quesadilla was nothing short of a delicacy! That food made my day! They came out to the "I Love Irondale" event last weekend, and did not disappoint! I ordered El Pastor and Chicken tacos, and my husband had their Chorizo, Pastor, and Carnitas [tacos]. We were both very, very pleased. Great flavors, good portions, and the people operating the food truck...
