This place is the best ! I got a speed queen dryer and everything was flawless with this company. I knew what I wanted ( I had a whirlpool breakdown twice in 4 years) and I had read and researched about speed queens I wanted the DC5 (it is the last analog dryer.) no circuit board to mess up - I called to ask if they had this dryer & spoke to Andrew Black -he said they not only had it they installed it. . So I went straight there & Andrew was phenomenal. He showed me exactly what I asked, for. He explained the differences in models etc . I had it delivered within 24 hours of walking in that store l, but on top of that -the guys that came to deliver it they came earlier than expected,( which never happens to me it’s always late ! lol) I really gotta do a shout out for the delivery guys - Willie and Lorenzo. Those guys were the most careful guys I’ve ever seen installing a dryer. - They took the door off the hinges to be sure they didn’t scratch my dryer (which I really appreciated)they were super professional . I was excited so I watched the whole thing and they were just really nice guys , professionally leveled my dryer etc I would never go anywhere else to buy any appliances but Alabama Appliance- bc of the way these people treated me. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I thought this store was commercial sales or chefs ( with the Thermador etc ) So to me, this is like a well kept secret. It’s a gorgeous place that you can get all kind of ideas for your kitchen and stuff even if you’re not a designer. I was even more impressed w the employees - It’s rare to see this kind of service nowadays in any company . Read more!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! NEVER buy from ALABAMA APPLIANCE in Irondale, AL. Here’s some facts about our experience:
-Purchased over $20k in appliances in Nov 2023 and thousands more on a second purchase last year -purchased a third party warranty through Alabama appliance for each appliance with a company called Epic Protect -$7k stove was recalled less than 30 days after delivery and was never notified by Alabama Appliance or the manufacturer -stove stopped working at 1 year mark-epic protect denied the claim (still didn’t know about the recall) -Alabama appliance refused to discount or help me in any way replacing the stove (it had been installed and used for over a year WITH A CONSUMER SAFETY RECALL FOR A CARBON MONOXIDE LEAK while cooking on it daily with 3 small kids in the house -2 years after install, the refrigerator stopped functioning (5/24/25) -filed a claim with epic protect- denied 3 times -Alabama appliance sent a repair guy and determined it needed to be replaced and Aaron told me “Vick will be calling you to get it all figured out” but Vick never called in 6 days and I called daily for updates. -I go in person to Alabama appliance on 6/5/25 and was told by Rebecca and Brendan that Alabama appliance wasn’t helping me at all because it wasn’t their problem and Aaron should never have tried to help me at all -I also reached out to the owner, Ben, with no response -Rebecca told 2 guys to “be on standby when I returned from the restroom so they could call the police if she had to ask me to lower my voice twice”
And here we are, 3+ weeks later with no functioning refrigerator and no help from Alabama appliance or their crappy warranty I paid good money for. Oh, AND a new stove we had to buy to replace the other that Alabama appliance also refused to help with!

Our first experience at Alabama Appliance was excellent — the salesperson was helpful, everything went smoothly, and we had no issues. Unfortunately, this second experience has been the complete opposite.
If I could give zero stars for this visit, I would. We worked with Aaron, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. His snarky attitude and lack of accountability were beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, the delivery was incomplete — our $13,000 stove was delivered without the power cord and gas line, both of which were included in the purchase and clearly listed on our receipt.
I have called multiple times, left messages, and even left a voicemail specifically asking Aaron to call me back — no response. When I called again today, I overheard him tell the receptionist, “We can come back up there to pick it up or they can go buy the parts at their local store.” For context, we live two hours away, one way, and paid for full delivery service, which included all necessary parts.
Being told to now go purchase the missing items ourselves is unacceptable, especially after spending that kind of money. Aaron’s attitude and lack of professionalism make him a liability to Alabama Appliance, and I would strongly recommend...
