April 2022:For returns, make sure that you have the "tax invoice" (W000+8more digits) which can be obtained by calling the customer support reps. The website's return policy procedure at stores show to bring the item to be returned and the card that was used. Unfortunately, these were not sufficient based on experience. Upon calling customer support representative, Adison stated that when an item is returned, it can only be in a form of a "store credit". Store credit would be in a form of a "card" that can be used anytime at any cotton on stores. This statement contradicts with the the lady with black hair & who wore glasses at this Irvine store. She mentioned that it would either be an exchange or return and that the credits would have to be used immediately in the store.The Irvine lady mentioned that there is no "card" that would have the amount of the store credit that can be used anytime at any cotton on stores. It would have been convenient for the customers if the system allowed the employees at the store to access the "tax invoice" when an order # and all details of the order have been shown by the customer. The tax invoice was given by Adison (customer support) upon acquiring the order# from me. I went to another location for the return since it had better customer service and knowlege on returns.Upper management needs to retrain the Irvine personnels for efficient and courteous customer service. I was doing a return and a purchase. Had a tag on one item and not the other. Was dissatisfied with the material quality of one of the items and showed her the manager the receipt. She said no exceptions even for the unworn item and refused to return or exchange for the same item. She did this with an attitude and I asked to speak to manager where she said I am that. I asked for the number to corporate she said Google it. Then her employee came to assist me in the rest of the return because the manager walked away and she treated me like a nuisance. She threw the receipt at me and I asked her why she did that then she denied doing it and shunned me off. I asked for their names and they denied to give me just their first names. It was quite unreal. I was there with my daughter ready to buy more items. I’ve never been treated like this ANYWHERE. I will never be coming back to this location as long as these two are here.
