2 stars. One because the place is always kept spotless, tidy and well stocked, the second because they do have a really good selection of items at great prices. BUT the customer service has been consistently bad the 3 times I have been there, and the fragrance they use throughout the store is so over the top, it sets off my allergies and I can never calmly shop around because my nose and eyes are itching with every minute spent in there.

As far as the customer service, I don't know if the employees need to be paid more, or given more breaks, or rewarded better, but 98% of staff members at this location act like you are bothering them during their nap time.

I approached the cashier and greeted her. She didn't even look at me in the eye and said "It's self check out". There was something going on with the machine and she asked another staff member for help, same attitude.

Not once did they look at me in the eye, and the cashier told me to "have a good day" while mumbling and acting like with each word $30 would be taken out of her paycheck.

The time prior to that, I asked for details about an item, the guy that helped me had the anxiety of someone that is trying to unplug a bomb without setting it off.

The time before that, literally no one even acknowledged my presence or that of the rest of the people in there.

I have names of the staff members I had the interactions with, however it isn't about firing a specific person. For the past 4 years customer service across the board has gone to the toilet and the only way to get things back straight is with consistent feedback and training of employees, and making sure they are being given the tools to do their work and feel good about coming to work.

This business has great potential, but customer service quality needs to be addressed as it is just as important as...

I am seriously in love with this store! I would’ve given it 5 stars but on my visit today there was a woman trying to check out for awhile and NO ONE was acknowledging her. She had to yell a couple times to get someone’s attention because they were all chatting in the back room. That said, they have a really great selection of inexpensive and super cute stuff. I buy everything from toys to cat treats as well as home decor and sessional/holiday items all at great prices. The store is so well displayed it feels like you’re shopping at a pricier boutique store. I spend way too long browsing every time but I can’t resist the great stuff I find! I don’t mind self checkout at all but the staff could be a little more attentive in making sure customers aren’t...
