Sandal Factory — Local services in Islamorada

MISSLEADING TOURIST TRAP. 4 T-SHIRTS FOR $10...WHAT A JOKE. Driving back from Key West you can't help but pass the numerous "T-Shirt City" & "Sandal Factory Outlet" billboards advertising "4 T-Shirts For $10." Despite my better judgement, I stopped at the Islamorada location to find just 1 circular T-Shirt rack devoted to a limited inventory of their heavily marketed "4 For $10 T-Shirts." On closer inspection, half the shirts were childrens sizes, the other half adult with a sign that read, childrens sizes 4 for $10, adult sizes 4 for $10.99. To add insult to injury, all the shirts on this rack had clipped neck tags, which means that all their limites selection of 4 for $10 T-Shirts are all second quality t-shirts with defects...Unbelivable. On balance, the rest of the store was well stocked with a much larger inventory of first quality T-Shirts. They were priced at $19.99 or more. Call me crazy, but is you advertise 4 for $10 T-Shirts, you would expect to find a store with a big selection of 4 for $10 T-Shirts. That's not what you find at T-Shirt City/Sandal...

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. First of all, we were in line just like everyone else. We were even second in line because there were 2 lines at that point. This lady said next at our turn but she was looking away expecting the other people from the other lane to come and get checked out, but we were right in front of her. We then shifted to the other line because we thought maybe there was one lane. So then four people went before us. When she had no one in front of her, we thought she would call us like she did from the other lane when we were in front of her. Instead, she turned and busied herself without even looking at us. I am Asian, and my girlfriend is Latina. We were ready to check out $200 worth of shirts and shoes, but with that discriminatory attitude and feeling we just went to spend our hard earned money elsewhere. We will never visit again, this or any of the other chains. P.S. the billboards around the area, 4 for $10 is all reject shirts in a tiny rack. See...

Customer service terrible. I asked for help at the counter to find the stock of a particular shoe. The salesperson, (Cmaria from receipt) with super large fake eyelashes was reloading her tape dispenser and never acknowledged me even though I was standing 3 feet across from her, so I politely asked for help. All she did was sigh, continued to work with her tape dispenser and spoke to someone in spanish who looked like a customer, so I continue to stand there waiting for her to address me, which she never did. Apparently the person she spoke to, found the stock for me and was kind. We purchased the shoes with Cmaria who never said 1 word to me. I understand help is difficult to find, but rude associates hurt your business more than you know. I would have not purchased the shoes, except my 87 year old mother wanted them, and you have to take care of Mom! I will never go back. Plenty of other shoe...
