Island Villa Rental Properties — Hotel in Islamorada

Seas The Day rental on Atlantic Lane has a musty smell that's been covered up with air freshener. It's very obvious and sticks to your clothes. The rental manager was not cooperative in providing a refund for us. I am a 2 time cancer survivor and believe that musty smells come from mold. I absolutely will not stay in a place that could possibly harm myself or family. This place looks nice in photos and the decor is cute, but when you open the door the dirty floor mat and strong odor smack you in the face. It's like they put lipstick on a pig. Stayed in the grey herring cottage for $8k for the week. Thought it would be a relaxing week but I was wrong. Heavy construction on both sides of the house so every morning at 7am they would start running excavators and pounding dock pilling. There were ants all over in the house when we got here. I’ve been coming to islamorada for years and never have I ever wanted to leave so bad. Worst week stay I highly recommend staying anywhere else. Definitely not...
