Tides Beachside Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Islamorada

I swear it’s my first time adding ONE star, but this place is completely disappointed, don’t trust the photos on the website. First of all my family and I paid a day pass for the restaurant and the pool, the restaurant doesn’t exist, the pool is definitely NOT as the pictures on google, dirty and small. There is not any signs or guides, we have to walk like 15 minutes from the entrance with our 6 months old baby under the sun until the pool. They don’t even have showers, the service is very poor, terrible, the menu is not the same in the website. 0 of 10 The place is under construction and nobody told us about “there is not restaurant” the food was served on chairs by the pool, on plastic containers. Rudest staff ever, I am a waitress so I know a lil bit about what the job is about . We stayed at the resort which is amazing but the restaurant staff is the worst . They just want to chill by their fan in the hallway with their back to the tables . Nobody came to give us a menu we had to get up to ask for it . The caramelized onions grilled cheese wasn't great either and the server never bussed our table and left us with empty cans and dirty plates the whole afternoon. There's empty cups around the pool and the staff member will not take the time to pick it up . I call this laziness plain and simple. I have never been treated so poorly before . I felt like I was bothering the bartender when I went to ask a question...

This place was recommended by the ladies at the visitor center so we thought we'd stop in for some lunch. It was kinda hard to find where to enter and even where it was located after parking, so maybe ask the gate guard the best way to get there. We walked down the beach and walked right by where you are supposed to enter, which is by the pool. It has a nice view and we were told we could use the pool and beach if we wanted to but we didnt have our suits. We did walk out on the pier and snagged some photos before we left.
