Disappointed with Boost Mobile's Refurbished Phone
Disclaimer: This review is due to the company not this exact location even though this is the store I took my phone to to get fixed.
I purchased a refurbished phone from Boost Mobile's website. Unfortunately, upon receiving the phone, I discovered it was locked to Verizon's network and wouldn't read SIM cards. Disappointed by this turn of events, I contacted Boost Mobile for assistance.
Boost Mobile Offered No Help
Boost Mobile declined to take responsibility for the malfunctioning phone and offered no solutions besides to reach out to Samsung. I also reached out to Samsung and Verizon, but neither could provide assistance due to the phone being locked on a Verizon's carrier network unless I wanted to open a plan through Verizon.
Frustrated and Switching Carriers
Left with a non-functional phone and feeling frustrated by Boost Mobile's lack of customer support, I decided to switch to Google Fi. Even after attempting to use the phone as a loaner device with Google Fi, Boost Mobile remained unwilling to help troubleshoot the issue. Recommendation to Avoid Boost Mobile Refurbished Phones

Read moreOn 8/28/25 the wife and I went there to buy her a new phone, settled on the iPhone 16e. Staff tried to transfer her information from her android to the iPhone, after some time she said she couldn't do it but there was a staff member at another store who could. Next day went to that store but the staff member wasn't there so the on duty staff member tried to transfer her information and he couldn't. Somehow a passcode was put on the phone, nobody knows how it got on the phone. On the 3rd day, we finally caught up with the staff member who was supposed to be able to transfer the info but now the phone is locked and he couldn't get in the phone. We told him that we didn't put a lock on the phone cause we been having Boost staff members messing with the phone. Since we bought the phone we have not had a chance to use it, but she has been getting calls on the phone but can't call out. Don't make any sense. Also there was a customer before us, on 08/28/25, that had problems with her phone, it was working inside the store but when she went outside to call someone to let them know she was on her way she couldn't call anyone and she came back in to get her phone fixed, it was but again when she went back outside the same problem occurred. Read moreI have been with Boost mobile for over 2 years. I also get prepaid Xfinity through them as well. I have never really had any issues until today. I paid my phone bill and my WiFi bill together on the same date (April 13, 2020), my bill for WiFi wasn’t due until April 19, 2020. My cashiers name was Tyler. Today Comcast cut my WiFi off because they said that my bill was not paid even though I still have my receipt of the payment. I have been on the phone all morning with both Boost Mobile and Comcast with bleak outcomes. They are both saying there is nothing they can do on their ends and meanwhile I’m out of $45 and no one is even willing to try and figure out what happened or take responsibility. I requested to speak to managers from both companies and was told that a manager would give me a call. As of yet, still no calls.
