SOAR Cafe — Restaurant in Jackson

I ordered the Thai Kale Salad. I requested the salmon as a protein. I was told they don’t have salmon. I opted for shrimp which wasn’t on the menu. I also requested balsamic dressing. When I received my food, there wasn’t a lick of carrots in the salad and it was full of green onion which isn’t listed on the menu. I have a reaction to onion so I spent much of my meal time removing the onion. I used the sauce they gave me which was ok but not the balsamic I requested. Later I wanted to order a chai at the counter. The waitress spent time doing other tasks right in front of me without acknowledging my presence. I knew she was busy but she could have let me know it would be a minute (actually an awkward three minutes). I asked if they had skim milk for my tea latte and she said yes. My beautiful Fiancee and I had our Wedding shower here! SOAR Cafe offers a great space for gatherings, meetings, or parties. The space is bright and elegant, and also gives your party some privacy in your own room. For our party we ordered cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, hash browns, and two varieties of quiches. And everything came out delicious! We also had a lemonade seltzer bar that made everyone feel fancy, it was quite the treat :) And the best part about SOAR Cafe are the people. Service here is unmatched, everyone is so nice and they just wanted to do anything they could to make our special day even better. Our wedding shower went perfectly, everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere of this beautiful Cafe. My Fiancee and I look forward to coming here many more times in the future to remember the amazing day...
