I have never been treated so disrespectfully at a retail store. My husband, myself and my son stopped in to do some back to school shopping, but I also had an Amazon return. The store recently remodeled, so now all purchases, returns & Amazon returns are at the same area. I have done Amazon returns recently, and learned that they are completed at register 1 only, and the other associates handle kohls purchases & returns. There was one person in line, and I asked them if they were doing an Amazon return, and they said no. I then asked them if I could go ahead as they are only done at register one, which they agreed. and approached register one. I asked the associate named Kevin is this where you do Amazon returns, he said yes. But you need to get back in line and wait your turn. And told me to go back to the line, to which I did and more people joined the line. I then waited my turn, another 5-7 minutes, and Kevin did not assist any customers during that time. I was called to register 8, and told them I was doing an Amazon return, and they told me I needed to go to register 1, where Kevin told me he cold now assist me. I asked him why he couldnât assist me previously, when he never assisted any other customers while I waited in line. He said he was not going to help a non paying customer before a paying customer. That was extremely disrespectful and I let him know I spent plenty earlier in the day and was back to spend more. He scanned one of my barcodes, and told me I was done and was annoyed when I told him there was 2 separate items. I asked him to get me a manager as I was not happy with how I was being treated. He told me he was the manager, and the only one working, even though his name badge did not say manager. I told him I wanted the number to customer service and told me I could look it up online. I told him to write it down for me. He refused and stormed away from the desk. I never received my Amazon return confirmation and do not even know if it was completed. Iâm so frustrated. They obviously donât care about their customers. I do a lot of Amazon returns there, and almost every-time I buy clothes...
Read moreThis is my first shopping experience at this Kohl's at Jackson Crossings. I do not frequently shop Kohl's, and know they may all be set up the same, but I wondered around the story trying to find the shoe section because they were no clearly labeled direction signs or workers to help me find the shoes. When I arrived and began looking for a pair on converse, it took me 10 minutes to find a size, because all sizes, colors and styles were disorganized. I then wondered around trying to find the socks section when I finally bumped into a worker and asked her if she could help me find some low rise socks to wear with my new shoes. She pointed to the back of the store and said socks were back there, with no intention of helping me find my low rise socks. I did ask her to come back and help me, and she did. Then at checkout, I realized the socks I had didn't have a scanner on them.. my cashier called someone to help her, but we didn't hear anything for a good 5 minutes. I decided to just run back and grab another pair, with my one year old on my hip. These were the only ones of their kind, so I grabbed a similar brand with an extra sock. I then had to wait at the back of the line (which was pretty long) to scan again. She seemed pretty annoyed that I wanted the no scanner socks, but they were the only ones that didn't have colors on them (I was looking for white). She gave me the $12 price for 4 and then took off $1, so I got 3 socks for $11.. at checkout, after I scanned my card, I realized I had a gift card and asked if I could cancel and use that instead. She said no, even though the order wasn't processed. I did feel bad I was making this take long because of the socks, but I know I could have used my gift card. I also want to add that literally no employee in the store was smiling , nor did my cashier give me one smile. I will plan to do anymore shoe/clothes...
Read moreOn June 5, 2024. My grandson, his cousin, a friend of their, and I. Was entering Kohl's from the mall in Jackson Crossing. Before entering my grandson cousin and their friend was jumping up to touch the sign. The boys were all just a little ahead of me. Has we enter, a lady came around a corner with in two seconds and said to the boys why were all three of you jumping in my store. ? Which was just before we came in. Then, she said respect the store and don't cause trouble and you was doing this right in front of that lady. Then, I spoke up and said this one here is my grandson and he was not jumping. Which he did not. Then, she said okay. I felt like she had target them because one was black, cousin was mexican and my grandson is mix. If, I had not been there ,she probably would have followed them around. When she found out that I was with them then it was ok. I am white. All these boys are good boys. I felt like she was being judgemental and targeting the boys and that...
