I am writing to share my experience with a birthday party I schedule for my daughter on the 17th of November. I arrived to the schedule time of my party and my "party host" directed us in the room. The room was beautiful decorated and was looking great. She directed us where to put our stuff and told us we would have lazor tag at 12:10 and 1:10 and that was the last information I received. Not once did she try to gather our group or keep us on any schedule, she literally disappeared. Drinks were being made as we got there I had pre-order and lemonade and sweet tea. Those weren't in the room until 12:20ish. I did add on two additional soda and pizza. The pizza was in the room by 12:23. I went to ask when the first game of lazor tag was because no one directed us and I have never been to this establishment ever and I was told we missed the first game and the next one is at 1:10 so if i wanted to do pizza I could. We did pizza and cupcakes it is 1pm at this point. I went to find the party host to ask what we need to do at 1:10 for lazor tag and I was told I would line up by the TVs. I had no idea where the tvs were and she told me where to go. I grab my entire party and took them over to lazor tag. Lazor tag was alot of fun kids had a great time. After the first game one of my guest had to go to the bathroom. All the bathroom were locked I was told some flushed a tampon down the toilet and the womens bathroom was closed. I then asked to use the men's room as it is one stall and I was told no by the girl at the cash register. She then directed me on where I could go through the mall to find a mall restroom. I found this completely unacceptable that there was not any type of plan B while I understand things happen they had parties happening all day and you only get two hours in the party room to walk all the way through the mall is crazy to use the restroom. As I was walking back to the party room my "party host" I could hear talking very loud on the phone about how there wasn't much she could do as the bathroom was down. She did come up to me later and explain that the men's room was open to use and that the girl up front gave me the wrong information okay it happens. This whole party was ran by myself and my husband we were running around gathering kids and hosting a party. I basically pay $300 for a room, pizza, and lazor tag. We paid for the largest package the battle glo which is $300 i thought for that price we would have someone running our party there was no flow no direction just pure choas. We did get our last round of lazor tag and when I asked what time we needed to do it I was told whenever. I had to ask that a group picture be taken which was part of what I paid for. I went to check out and they tried to charge me for the whole party when I paid in full already and only needed to paid for the 4 additional pizza i added on. I was really disappointed in my experience. This place seems very fun and the kids had a great time but for the hassel I will not be coming back. In total I spent $382 on probably one of the worst parties we have done. I schedule this party in October and called several time with question. There was no communication at all leading up to my party or anything. Any information I had it's because I asked. Super unorganized for me and very stressful experience.
I gave two stars because the owner did show up and did apologize and because this is actually a fun place however I won't be back and I would highly recommend you don't purchase a party package unless you like being your own party host and doing everything yourselves.
If you do decide to schedule a party some tips that I wish I had. Bring extra plate you get only 12. I called and did bring my own plates. Bring napkins you only get 12 this I was unaware of and was a nightmare with 7 year olds, Bring cups you only get 12 the adults of the party may get thirsty no extra cups. The cups are also plastic and the kids will snap them in half. Just bring all plates, napkins, cups, utensils, a lighter to light the candles. Just...
Read moreToday will likely be the last time we go. When we arrived we were told it would be a 30 minute wait because of birthday parties. Being upfront prior to paying was appreciated and we decided to go to the bookstore while we waited. After 30 minutes we were back and they were ready. We played one game and then they were doing another group. At this point we realize every arcade game either $1 a play or lasts 10 seconds for 50 cents. With $10 gone in a matter of a few minutes, we went over to sit down where the line is for laser tag. In the past, the workers would seek us out for our next game. They were starting another match and didnât say anything. We asked if we could play and were told we could. Different than we are used to, but not the end of the world. We play our second game. Need to wait again. Not wanting to spend more on the arcade we get some drinks and sit down. After waiting about 10 minutes (length of a match) we are told we wonât get to play again for an hour because they had two large groups (not parties, groups) coming in. âYou can go home and come backâ was most definitely not an option. We were there prior to the groups but we donât get to play? We had planned to play only once more but werenât given the time to even let the staff know that before she walked off, which was ultimately is what left a sour feeling for me. We lost out on the value of our âall day passâ. There is nothing to do for an hour unless you are going to go cruise the mall, which kids are not inclined to do. Overall I think they need a different space for this. Being able to only have 10 people at a time play but having 50 people waiting doesnât really work. There are more affordable family friendly options in town so we will opt for...
Read moreThe mall is fun again because of this place. They have an all day pass for two people for laser tag which is great if you want to play more than two games. They also have an all day pass for one person. With the all day the pass you can leave, go shopping, go eat, and come back. You will have to sign a waiver if you never came before.
Most of the staff is excellent, helpful, and had a good attitude. Most of the arcade games cost 4 quarters and don't last long. For twenty dollars you get about half a cup of quarters in a plastic cups. For about $20 you can win about a full plastic cup of tickets.
They have two pool tables which I didn't play but looks dangerously close to glass windows. It would be good to have a barrier for windows. They have a lot of classic arcade games but missing DDR. I noticed a small little party table that some kids had a birthday party later.
The laser tag area is okay. The laser guns didn't have a laser but you can see a red ring if you look through the scope. Music is a little bit too loud. Expect to lose some hearing. It was still fun to play with. More people you play with the more fun. A sign near entrance of the laser tag would be helpful. I didn't know where it was until someone told me. A bench to sit on while you wait in line would be nice.
Not a bad place. I had fun. Loved all the glowing lights. A black ceiling might blend in better with the lights. Might be helpful to sell glow sticks or anything that lights up if not already.
I saw a little food area but it didn't look operable. It would be nice to be able to buy and eat inside. No outside food or drink allowed.
Not a bad place. I believe all people of all ages can enjoy this place. I would...
