Had a worst time / experience in RH Jacksonville st St. Johns Town Center. We went here just a few days ago to have a tour in St Johns Towncenter as we are Asian tourists. We were supposed to dine-in here at RH St Johns and explore the place / shop / restaurant because we heard good things about it. Really got disappointed because the manager (Andrea) was rude to us. We really actually felt discriminated and disrespected.
I even went back to talk to her to explain properly our experience about how we felt towards her treatment/approach to us but she did not welcome it as she was firm with her actions towards us and just insisted that I just send a feedback instead to their management or feedback department because she said we were just going in circles with our discussion. She even said that she got annoyed with my actions.
It started when I was taking pictures of my wife in their restaurant using my fujifulm X-T30. The receptionist Tatiana approached us and told me that I cannot use pro camera. I properly (with a smile) told her that I am not a professional photographer nor my camera is a professional camera. Then after taking pictures, the manager Andrea approached me and said “are you done with your camera? Are you done taking pictures?” With an unpleasant or mocking tone. I said yes and she told me that as per their policy (which I am not sure where to see that as there were no signs) I cannot use my pro camera so I said again that my camera was not pro and she just said that I can only use my phone camera in the gallery which I confirmed to her that that’s the first and second floor where they display their products for sale. We went out to the alfresco area (3rd floor) of their restaurant and I took pictures with my XT30 camera there for memories as they have a good view and place out there. After few mins the manager went out and said, “Did I just tell you not to use your camera?” rudely. I said that I thought she only meant the gallery in 1st and 2nd floor and she said that No, even outside is the gallery and I cannot use my camera there, (said it unpleasantly again). I stopped shooting and just said that I was sorry for the trouble because I did not know. That’s the time that my family and I left because we felt that we are already being targetted and the manager is always approaching us in a non pleasant way.
Never going back to this place or any RH store anymore. I’ll never support this establishment ever again. Never experienced this kind of treatment back home and other countries we have visited. I am also hoping that the upper management of RH would do something about this. I think the manager could have dealt with the matter properly and not how she did it, which is rude, unpleasant, and a bit racist if may I add. Really...

My husband & I took our clients on a business lunch (all of us are African American) to RH in Jacksonville at the St Johns Town Center on 8/6/22 at 5:20pm & were told that we could not be seated as we gazed upon a near empty space on the rooftop. I asked why not & was told there was no space & that we could not make a reservation. My party of 4 walked outside of the building & called RH at 5:24pm to make 5:30pm RSVP & we’re able to do so. The ladies in my party walked back inside & spoke to the same guy who said we could not be seated and that there was no room for us, only to have him look confused as to why are we back. I asked to speak to the manager & he came quickly & was made abreast on the situation. He apologized & pointed out (discretely) the guy who told us that we couldn’t be seated and then said he would speak to him. I told the manager & the blatant bigot they could cancel the reservation and give it to someone else b/c I wouldn’t dare spend a penny in a place that did not want my party’s presence in the building. My client & I spoke with Eric (hospitality) who assured us Kiwi Pham (one of 2 top managers) would give us a call and it’s been a week & no call has come as of yet. I’d give this place -0...
