I've been here several times after it's opened. It seems like fewer and fewer people want to work as of late because there are fewer workers here to the point that you have to hunt them down. Sometimes, they have had the entrance to the mall closed off. I really like having the sporting goods store that offers a wide variety of things nearby. I just wish the workers took pride in their job. The last time I was here, I needed to pick up a pair of shoes for my daughter. She found the ones she wanted on the wall, and since there weren't boxes of this shoe around it, we needed to find someone to see if they had her size in the back. We looked around the shoe department and talked loudly about needing help, so if anyone was within earshot, they could've come over... but we didn't see anyone, and no one came over from hearing us. So I walked to the cashier, not spotting anyone along the way, they announced over the loudspeaker that we needed assistance, and when I was walking back a worker was all of a sudden standing within earshot of us, almost like she had been crouched down the whole time ignoring us earlier. She helped us get the shoes we needed. Then, there was an issue at the checkout. I had a coupon, the cashier was new and didn't know how to scan them so asked for help. When the items you purchase get scanned, the price comes up on the credit card reader... so I knew what the original price of all my items was. The lady came over scanned my coupons and no prices changed and she said "There, now this is the new price" and proceeded to list off all the original prices to me like I'm a complete idiot. Only some of the items I purchased were on sale, so the coupon (directly from the Dunham website) should work. I've worked as a cashier before, I know how frustrating it can be to have things not work. If you're seeing something on your screen that shows all my items are actually on sale, then show it to me rather than lie to me about prices supposedly changing. Show me that I'm getting a great deal already, that the coupon from the website isn't needed, you don't need to hide what I'm paying from me, I'm going to be the one...
Read moreFound a gun I liked and bought it. When the gun malfunctioned I sent it to Walther. The 'fixed' it and sent it back. Same problem. 'Fixed' again and sent back. Same problem. At that point I tried to go thru Dunham's. Not only did they do NOTHING to help me, they basically tossed me out because "we don't allow guns in our store". The gun was in the case, had no magazine, the slide was open, and I put the padlock on. I just wanted someone to look at it, or take it back since it had failed 3 times in a couple months. Now, as to not allowing guns in the store? THEY SELL THEM! But if you go in to buy one now, they have huge locks on the gun that make it impossible to even check out the gun before purchase. Never will I go there again, and I made sure to tell the manager exactly that. She didn't care. It's...
