Hometown Rent to Own — Local services in Jamestown

The WORST place you could rent from. They seem nice at first but as soon as a payment is late they double charge you and CONSTANTLY harass you. They beg their customers to leave good reviews for their employee benefits and competitions. I have personally watched them harass, one of their customers inside a store two separate times speaking about the customers accounts in front of other people. Luckily the store had cameras and the customer was able to get the video and turn it in. They will leave sticky notices all over your car and go to your job harassing your employees for information about you. My boss has had to call and complain several times one due to them knocking on his neighbor’s door so hard it left a crack in the window and woke his sleeping baby up and second time over them harassing customers at a store. Another friend of mine stated they called her 4 times in one hour harassing her about her friend that rented from them she wasn’t even the renter. She blocked the number and they continually called from other numbers. This business is extremely unprofessional about how they do their job. If you want a good high-quality rental I would suggest going to Rent-A-Center or Aarona’s. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism. Don’t be fooled by their promotions because they weasel their way into upping the price. Definitely do not recommend. These guys went above and beyond for me. I was in desperate need of a washer. My husband travels for work and our washer went out while he was gone. It was in need of some minor repairs anyway and this was just one more thing. I shopped at several places. Best Buy was very expensive and would have taken over a week to arrive. I also checked Lowes and they would not be delivered until May. I then went with Aaron's because we have used them before in the past and always paid them off within the "same as cash period" well I ordered a gas dryer and needed an electric so my order was cancelled and they were out of the electric dryer. So I decided to try Hometown.They had what I needed in stock and even said they would be out that day to install which was a huge blessing. I also asked for pedestals which they didn't have in stock but are ordering for me and when they come in they will also deliver them and install them. They even took my old set away for me where others said I either had to pay extra or they weren't able to remove them. Not to mention, their pricing is unmatched. Recently, I needed a new refrigerator and didn’t have the money to purchase one cash out. I called around to different stores in our area, but they either didn’t have what I was looking for or were extremely overpriced. They offer a wide variety of selections from appliances, furniture, electronics, four wheelers and even NAME BRAND PURSES! As the holidays are approaching this is one place you can’t forget to check out. If they don’t have what your looking for they always make sure to go above and beyond to assist in finding an item to match your desired needs/wants! I’m not even kidding, I wanted a stainless steel refrigerator/freezer with the freezer in the bottom “without a water dispenser” and they found me one that is exactly what I wanted plus more.
