I will preface this with there were only about 10-12 other customers there when we were seated. There were 4 front employees. (Seems only 1 maybe 2 people spoke English) Food was super good!! Took 10 minutes for them to get our drink and app order. We ordered a Dr. Pepper, a beer(first choice was unavailable) and a pitcher of Lime margaritas and an order of guacamole. Took an additional 10 minutes to get the drinks. No mention that the guacamole appetizer we ordered was unavailable. Our food took about 20 minutes to come out. We had 1 chicken taco salad (very small), 1 shredded beef chimichanga, 1 chicken & beef fajita & a fajita rodeo w/ chicken, beef, shredded pork, shrimp & chorizo. Donât have comments on the first 2 items(my parents had those and left earlyđ¤ˇđťââď¸). The fajitas were very large portions and more meat then veggies. That was a pleasant surprise! They both only came with 2 flour tortillas(which we all know is never enough), no choice of corn tortillas. My wife had to get up at one point and go find a waitress to order more sour cream, hotter salsa/sauce and more tortillas. After an additional 10 minutes of waiting we had to flag the same waitress down to get the tomatillo salsa. 2 flour tortillas was $1.29 extra and side of tomatito salsa was $1.29 extra. The food overall was very good and prepared well. Everything was hot(temperature) when it got to the table. The pitcher of margaritas is well worth the $26. I think we each had 4-5 drinks. At the end we had to get our own to go boxes and go to the register w/o a bill. The bill for the four of us was $105 and change. The food I would rate higher but the service really brought the overall score down. This was our first experience here but will definitely...
Read moreHorrible experience. Over priced and small serving. I ordered the steak burrito. I received a pile of lettuce and very small burrito. Took forever to be seated and long wait for bad food, and the place was not busy. The waitress was more concerned with flirting with the kitchen help then with the guests. The booth next to us had to go ask if they could get some service. Then she still stood there talking to the other help. My advice go somewhere else. Also the waitress had attitude. Our bill was. Incorrect and tried explaining it to her and she acted like she didn't understand so my husband told her in Spanish and her response was So What. Too expensive very small servings...
Read moreThere is nothing wrong with the food. We did have to get up and ask for a box at the end but I dont really see that being a huge issue. The restaurant was warm and could use a little tiding up as there seemed to be some construction going on. We ordered carne asada and Pollo adobado and both were good. Most Mexican restaurants adjust the taste of food to please most Americans idea of what food should taste like and this place was no different. Mexico has many flavor profiles and my parents often debated what seasonings should be used on foods, classic north vs south seasonings battle. Some put meat in foods where other areas use veggies all the same...
